Amid the rising cost of petrol in Nigeria, efforts are ongoing to stabilise and improve the efficiency of fuel supply. As such, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, is set to hold talks with Dangote Petroleum Refinery on Tuesday and Wednesday to finalise agreements on the cost and lifting of petrol from the plant. This is coming after the Federal Government granted permission to petroleum marketers to lift petrol directly from Dangote Refinery, without the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, as the middleman.
