@@sokirish Collins is fully capable of beating anybody. But she seems to lose concentration momentarily. With a better draw and not losing easy points or games, Collins will win GSs. Look at lucky Iga, she will 99% lose to either Rybakina or Ostapenko but somehow avoided both players for the past few years. I don't recall Iga beating either Rybakina or Ostapenko on her way to any one of her GS victories.

But sometimes (like in case of Azarenka and Sabalenka) it is just a senseless wall of sound where every movement is accompanied by squeek or moaning. That's never really been Azarenka's game. Her style has served her very well over the years, but she's lost a step and is more of a quarterfinalist at best at 1000's and majors now. Collins is still burning it up in 2024. Lotta double faults by both.

What a brilliant point you're making. There are very few good coaches out there. All most of them do is feed balls to the players and pick up a check. With Collins right now Sabalenka is the only one who can match her intensity and stroke production from the baseline. Their match coming up will be a barn burner.

Colins just keeps winning, truly impressive career end she's having! As as observance Azarenka had some really bad loses; so many 4th Rounds, QF, and Semi have slipped through her fingers, damn, since the US Open in 2020.

The old lady never had a chance. Shes used to the old type of rallying tennis that is fatal against a first strike player like Collins. Wheres the diff shots? Just trying to hit harder and harder through Collins. Collins is way to shrewed to feed Azarenca free bites at the cherry.!

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the girl in the white dress who sits alone a few rows back?? She wears a black cap and has a blue towel on her lap. Not a fan of Collins. Bad attitude and entitled most of her career. She's finally got a game to match the attitude. You can be feisty and passionate without being rude. Look at Ons Jabeur, Caroline Wozniaki. I don't understand all the love she is getting all of a sudden.

Aza started strong and was up but Collins raised her level and pounded that ball with no mercy. With this kinda heavy hitting she can win Grand Slams. But the top 3 are very tricky so she needs to stay sharp.

@@jonfreeman9682 True, but I didn't talk about Collins but only about Azarenka. You have to watch the match in its entirety and not 3/4 games played well. In the whole match I saw Azarenka who was too firm on her legs and missed incredible balls and often too stiff, heavy shots. In the second set she tried to come out on top but played well for about 3 games and Colins (who is stronger) rightfully won

I don't know. I think she's a little crazy, who is she complaining to half the time? Does she have multiple personality disorder? I for one don't like the screamers and over the top celebrators when their opponents miss. I think it's disrespectful and unsportsmanlike. Could never imagine behaving like that playing any sport. That's why I like players like Rybakina.
