Excellent interview, Pablo. So joyful listen to the both of you and your levels of affection. You can hear all the empathy Danilo has going on in his music continued here in this talk. And you are as good as always opening those doors and following up and into the behinds. Amazing level of understanding & sharing, also musically. Thank you, very touching this was.

I'm so glad you used clips from Perez's Live at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago. That is an UNBELIEVABLE album. I think you used it in Ben Street's intro too. You're so well listened and it gives me a sense of connection to fellow enthusiasts. Take care, and thank you!

Ya, man. That WSQ was just...BOOM, I mean the way they played was just so improvised in the moment. I saw them at the Newport Jazz Fest a couple of times, and like you grabbed all the recordings and as many live shows as I could (can! still going!) Thank you for making these vids. It's great to hear musicians talk about the process of making it.

As a guitar player who plays with my fingers instead of a pick, I often think of how Danilo would play to force myself out of old approaches and find fresh new ideas
