Welcome to a tour of the cemetary/city park where Lars works as a landscape gardener - Fredericia Kirkegårde in Fredericia, Denmark.
This is an area of 42,000 square meters (that's 10 acres). It's a massive park filled with places to enjoy beautiful perennials and annuals while paying respect to those who have passed.
Here in Denmark, these cemetaries are open to the public and used as parks - from joggers to people having picnics in the grass, it's wonderful that these spaces are available and not hidden or left unloved.
A few of the flowers you'll see on this walking tour of the grounds:
1:02 Kniphofia (Red Hot Poker)
3:23 Achillea (Yarrow)
3:53 Veronicastrum virginicum (Culver's Root)
4:14 Serum (Bristleweed)
