Thank you so much for the candid review. My question to you: These boots are waterproof, which is great for keeping water out; HOWEVER, if water does go over the top and gets in there, how quickly do they drain/dry? You mentioned that they're ultra breathable and therefore do not let sweat really fill up the boot, which leads me to believe that they would dry rather quickly. Would love to hear your opinion. Thanks! -Joe

Bellville boots don't get really broken in until they are just about worn out.

Fan-friken-tastic sir. Thank you! I am actually in the market for new boots, and when having to buy four pairs, price is a consideration so this review really helps.

Glad you liked it. I recently picked up a pair of the hot weather Tannicus to augment my waterproof pair. Look for a new video soon.

Thank you for the review, I've recently bought the pair of these with Danner dry system, and my legs are sweating too much in summer weather. I probably wouldn't complain, but before I had Belleville boots with gore tex, exactly that you've shown at the beginning of the video, they were much more breathable. So I am thinking to return them, and get the same model, but without the membrane. I do hope they would be better regards sweating. Did you compare the regular model without Danner dry, are they better for hot weather?
Great review. Wondering if you had an issue with sizing that I'm reading about in other review, I've been wearing FTX for a few years, but I don't like what they did with the lacing on the G3 so I'm looking at the Tanicus.

+dbruce1911 Sizing seems right on with me. I wear an 11.5 in most shoes/boots and these are 11.5's and fit perfectly.

How is the FTX different than this model? I'm looking at the two and can't decide. Huge price difference, but can't see where the jump is.

Seem to be so far, but that's a subjective thing. Everyone is different and what works for one person might not for another.
