Daoiri Farrell live at The Virtual Irish Festival of Oulu
Dublin born traditional singer and bouzouki player Daoiri Farrell has been described by some of the biggest news in Irish folk music as one of the most important singers to emerge out of Ireland in recent years. Daoiri visited Oulu in 2016 as part of the band “Four Winds” but has since gone on to carve out a growing reputation as one of the leading singers of the new generation in Ireland. Taking inspiration from Dublin singer Liam Weldon and the legendary Christy Moore and Andy Irvine of Planxty he has gone on to release acclaimed albums and is winner of two prestigious BBC Folk Awards.
