"On its way from the Mountains of the Morn, to the sea, the [river] Ash runs howling through a narrow cleft in the mountains, between towering cliffs so steep and close that the river is perpetually in shadow, save for a few moments at midday when the sun is at its zenith. In the caves that pockmark the cliffs, demons and dragons and worse make their lairs. @@greatwavefan397 Yeah I agree on every detail having an emotion, but not like happiness or sadness but its own ethereal feeling. I think this has links to derealisation disorder but I wouldn't leave it entirely to that, I think a very very small amount of people have a broader awareness of reality and it's emptiness. This definitely unnerved me during my teenage years but after awhile it sort of stabilises.
@greatwavefan397
3 жыл бұрын
@@jameshall6365 For me, it might've just been the extreme opposite of derealization, but perhaps "hyperrealization". I remember watching the ring of fire scene from _Finding Nemo_ and letting the unknown of the bubbly deep reds grip me. I didn't just see the darkness, the reds, the bubbles... I felt them. I began having these feelings when I was a toddler. However, they've slowly faded away (edit: maybe even to the point of derealization) and have been replaced by actual emotion, logic, and aesthetic appreciation, perhaps due to emotional maturity and life's struggles. The "synesthesia" sometimes tries to return when I listen to certain types of artists, like Alexander "NightRadio" Zolotov or Hirotaka Shirotsubaki. Such feelings--even when I was younger--differed from nostalgia: I desired to explore a place or meet a person I would never meet until I shifted my reality.

I know right ...it kinda reminds me of a pycho Bob Ross painting lmao! Oh and yes I took that term/name from someone else and then used it, cuz the term pycho Bob Ross cracks me up lol! .... except this actually really works here , haha, the other time I saw it used it made me laugh really hard, but it didn't have a proper home , until now haha.

How long he's been paddling around this cold, glass lake, he doesn't know. Where he's from, his own name, and all other meaningful pieces of his personal puzzle are a haze. A haze that parallels the reaching fog around him. The fog that traps him. The fog that pulls him further from the shores, if they ever even existed. Waves lap the sides of the small boat, matching the muddled waves of his own thought. And anger, rising in its own pounding waves of delusion. Onwards he paddles, wondering where the fog will take him, and just when it will let him go...

It's our subconscious that enjoys this "weird" noises. our bond with the universe; have you ever seen a moment in your life that felt like it's familiar to you? the same thing happens here, we enjoy this because in the space, we have almost similar noises(not sounds but as waves) always going around. search for translated noises nasa captured from the space. you'll feel the similarities. we are a part of this universe, we are made out of it, these noises have always been our universal language. this is why we enjoy it.

@Carl Coriell I feel like being connected to the Universe is only another fom of Hell when you're not connected to another soul. It's way too lonely to live that way, and the lack of someone to enjoy that Universe with you will make it seem like there's no reason to keep going. Atleast is how I see it.

i have a feeling fog is seen in a bad way but i see it alot in winter so its normal for me. I think its the thought of the word darkness that makes it dark but if no thoughts come from it or opposite thoughts expected then it contradicts itself. Although darkness in a way isnt like a stone always the same, or slowly degrading. Darkness is probably the only thing that makes sense as you can represent it by Nothing. Sounds peaceful if you think about the right things. I mostly think about chaos but chaos to me doesnt sound like this, sounds natural in a way. Although this is just chaos on a low scale.

It makes me think of sitting on a big grassy field which is surrounded by a forest, looking up at the stars in the night sky during full moon, which illuminates surroundings just enough so that it isn't dark. As you observe the stars and distant galaxies you feel like a bystander, hearing the whispering of cosmos... Ahem, so how are you?

Great ambient mix! I heard something similar one day on the way to work, very early. My usual classical station had antenna issues and suddenly this came on instead from another station. I didn't want it to end. I felt so at peace. Keep up the good work.

Even though it's described as dark ambient, I'm always lifted and feel much happier after listening, does that make sense y'all?
