Chinar Es, in the version by Gomidas and Asparani Bar, performed live as part of Perspectives Ensemble's Dark Eyes/New Eyes, on May 16, 2013 at Judson Memorial Church in New York City. Performers include: Ara Dinkjian, oud; percussionists John Hadfield and Shane Shanahan; Sato Moughalian, flute; Bridget Kibbey, harp; Zulal--Teni Apelian, Yeraz Markarian, Anais Alexandra Tekerian. Visual art by Kevork Mourad. The final animation sequence in Chinar Es is inspired by the Armenian Bird Mosaic from the 5th or 6th century, rediscovered in 1894 outside the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem.
