I would really prefer that, finale really breakes the lore if you really think about that, how did Claudia find out about that if she didnt in any previous loop acording to lore she literally shouldnt be capable of that discavery and decision not if her previous itarations didnt do that. Its complicated i know but it simply shouldnt be possible. Well... unless some quantum probability is involved but it was never shown.
@jamesrobson4894
4 жыл бұрын
Sater I get what you mean, but there is an answer. The loops are not exact replications. One character even said something along the lines of ‘it may not always happen the same way, but it does happen’. With each loop, Claudia learned more about the loophole and the origin world and relayed this information to her younger self, until in one loop she knew enough to use the second of the apocalypse (the loophole that breaks the cause and effect link for a second’) to create a new event, her meeting with Adam, to explain how to close the loop and make Adam and Eve’s worlds go ‘Dark’.
@Sater109
4 жыл бұрын
@@jamesrobson4894 No, Loops ARE an exact replications they simply can not be diffrent (if they ware it wouldnt be a loop) episode 7 is all about showing that, its not that the world wont allow change its simply that each and every time the characters have exact same experiences and mindsets making exact same choises and mistaked thats why its inescapable because the very act of trying to escape is part of the loop. Thats why It shouldnt be possible, each and every time Claudia should make the very same choises and discoveries if her previous itarations ended up failing so should she. - As i said unless some quantum probablility is involved, someware though some pure (quantum) chance a single electron or quark did something diffrent then in diffrent loops cousing an avalanche effect making someone someware do a diffrent thing then usually (maybe an electron shot in someone head made someone turn left insted of right or something) bringing about this change ? It could very well happened already in the past changing the loop without breaking it making some small unimportant changes (a single loop changes or unimportent permanent ones). Well.... i guess infinite chances this loop provides practically guarantees SOMETHING to happen (even if probability of such thing happening is 0,000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 % its guaranteed to happen if you have infinite chances) and it only has to happened once but as i said it was never shown. I would really Prefer i if they left the ending on episode 7 its makes far more sence.

@@jimskk This scene is all about the cycle repeating itself. The wonderful thing about Dark's time travel was that all the timelines were always happening congruently with each other. At any moment in, say, 1953 you could travel through the portal and experience events happening simultaneously in 2019. As one character spends their middle-age to old-age years stuck in one time-period, they're also aging from teenagehood to adulthood in another, and being born sometime else. Everything, all the misery and convolutions, happened in such a tight loop that it never ended. Even when characters die, they're somehow also just beginning their lives and choices as a younger person. They were all trapped in Winden in a cycle that also made them immortal in that way. The pain never ended repeating itself

And then, the relief of the final episode. My God, what a conclusion.
