They're pretty chill with each other on discord and whatnot, I think Grim just points down so much that it's hard for him to stop :p Edit: you can see a bit of interaction in the chat too and it's nothing too meanspirited, plus if you watch their mic'd tryhard duels you can hear they're actually having quite a lot of fun

I don't understand why changing to Oak regen shield when the chip damage u take is bigger than the regen u get. Isn't lothric knight shield better against a crossbow user?
@Jeenine
4 жыл бұрын
good question, when grims opponent is low hp, grim will switch to knights crossbow to finish them off with chip, when the knightcrossbow is out, youll take similar chip dmg for bks or etheral. Even if grim doesnt have knights crossbow equipped when I have etheral out, it is only a matter of preparing the switch before beeing forced to switch. regardless of which shield I pick, im bound to take about 30 chip dmg late in a round. Mid round its a different story. Using knights crossbow for a full match leaves him open. His opponent can abuse the lower crossbow dmg and force trades with fast weapons, where as arbalest would always win him the trades.

Hey jeenine I found most of your builds on mugen monkey and I had a lot of questions as to how you made your builds. Like why the specific 44 into health? And what's with the armor setups I can tell they are well calculated putting you short of 70% but when I run the rest of the setup through the armor calculator I can't tell what you are calculating for.

He hit you 6 times that first game before his poison went off. Poison's like 720ish damage? Divided by 6 is 120 per hit, but 125 bundle AR won't really be adding that much damage per hit I guess. But then again you could've munched moss after the proc through, and the other matches took more swings, even though he landed some bolts on your moss. But even if you mossed every three swings and took an arbalest round each time, I'm not sure that's doing as much damage as just adding pine resin would to that swingcount, or at least not much more than at four. I don't think poison's worth it.
@Jeenine
4 жыл бұрын
Thats a good question, but no as for the poison to resin comparison, grim gets a shot at landing a free bolt everytime he procs poison, landing one bolt alone far outweighs the dmg difference from a resin or bundle. Keep in mind that most of the poison procs happen on ghost hits: hits that don't do dmg but proc the status effect.
@everettdaly5621
4 жыл бұрын
It didn't seem like he was getting many ghost hits anyways, but that might have just been you playing around it, which could manifest as another advantage I guess.

Always Rotten Ghru as xLeines already said. Poison resin is most effective on weapons with innate poison, if not you just get so little buildup per hit that it's difficult to proc.
