Ledley King was a Rolls Royce of a footballer. I wont even categorise him as a defender as he was good enough to play in midfield if he wanted. Lightning quick, very strong, had an engine, great distribution, aerially dominant and never out of position. Pity about his knee issues, he would have probably been the best of that generation along with Rio Ferdinand.

Best centre back in that generation for me. Great on the ball, fast, strong. Spurs looked like a side that could compete with him in the the team.
