So this popped up on my feed today. Been a fan of Hall & Oates since middle school. Seen them in concert in the 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, 2012 & 2021. Their music is timeless & takes u back in time to certain stages in your life(at least for me). Do they sound like they did during their prime; no. But they sound a lot better than some groups I have seen. They do not get the credit they deserve. Both Daryl & John in this video in their 60’s, and sound great for their age. And they both are sexy in their own individual ways. Thank you for posting. Merry Christmas Everyone! 👏🏻🎤🎄

My first album straight from the USA that my uncle brought me was the black and white cover and red inside cover with the lyrics from these guys. Kiss On My List was one of the songs that made me keep my finger on the pause key every radio song fades out waiting for that electronic drum timbres start... I really like their songs. Almost all of them, for sure. Including Arthur Baker's remixes etc.. But it's sad to see that Daryl's mic is too loud on the video (maybe not that loud there)... Thank you very much for this happy moment watching their art...

What an amazing duo, respect for all of the fantastic songs they've given us over the years, but, age takes it's toll on the vocal chords, it must be so frustrating when you can't get the tone and height in the voice anymore. Hamish Stewart from AWB has the same problem.

We had them in our theatre about 20 years ago. Awesome musicians and wow can these guys sing. No trax on vocals there. I never say no trax when you have serious keyboard players because they are always using loops and things. It's part of playing keyboards but it's still using electronic devices to to cover for other musicians in many cases.

No I don't hear the nasal aspect, but he is ambitious with what he tries to do and he does unfortunately miss notes. I would prefer to see him just let the songs do the singing. Having said the above, Daryl's voice is one of the greats of the recording industry. Also the Philly vocal harmonies are thrilling!

Believe it or not , ya can't ever get close to as it was done in the studio ! And these guys can play the songs rough as they want , rather toy around with them ! Cause they can . I've seen them live after 2012 , he can get his vocal range right to the T , like the records ) And they can be spot on ! True musicians can do that :) They wrote the songs , so they can toy with them as they please :)

I have been a Hall & Oates fan since I was a teenager in 1975. But, Daryl's voice sounds terrible. I know that he is now in 2019 in his early 70's (being born in 1947) and that aging eventually alters the voice of most people, but it is still disappointing to listen to his voice now in 2019 vs. his beautiful voice in the common era of Hall & Oates. Maybe it's because this is live or he was ill at this concert? Still love them both and appreciate anything they do currently. Its all about the great feelings and great memories associated with their music and our lives at the time that they released and played their music back from the mid 70's to the mid 80's.
