@@ruslankutlukaev2105 Look at the data: To make the comparison useful, take only the countries in Europe. The number of traffic-related fatalities per 100000 inhabitants per year tells the another story. Russia with 18 is the worst, followed by Armenia (17.1), Bosnia (15.7), Ukraine and Belarus (both 13.7), Albania (13.6), etc. On the opposite end of the scale are Western countries: Norway (2), Switzerland and Sweden (2.2), United Kingdom (2.9) etc. The similar picture you get if you re-calculate the traffic fatality rate not to inhabitants but to 100000 vehicles. In this case, Russia is on the 7-th place, Ukraine on the 9-th and Belarus on the 10th. So it is not only prejudice. In Europe, the former USSR and Balkan countries are the least safe countries related to the traffic. Whether it is poor driving culture, bad quality of rescue system, or there is some different reason, is the another question. However, the over-representation of Russian dashcam footages of the traffic accident is the completely different issue. It is probably the result of much wider daschcam popularity in Russia (and probably use of the footages in the insurance disputes).

I thought I was the only one that thought Russian is funny. I have no idea what they are saying, but I laugh every time I hear them speak. I think it is the attitude. But in fact, I really does sound like a beautiful language, and every once in awhile you hear the roll of r's like in Spanish. It is complicated and very alien to English ears.

(многие даже тупо не тормозят, как ехали, так и врезаются)
