I really like this. I'm a Digital Ed. teacher in Phuket, and I've dressed up my room in Star Wars style. I'm using an outdated Galaxy tablet as a digital clock, and an old Lenovo phone to control my Sphero R2D2. This project has inspired me to breakup an old laptop and use the case to build case for both those devices, maybe also including charging ports. I'll keep you posted!

I see you linked to the Laser cutter that you have...but is it the 500mw or the 7000mw? I've got a Glowforge, but I was thinking of getting a secondary laser for things like cutting foam, etc. And the model you have would be great for engraving on items that I cannot fit into the Glowforge bed.
