Hmmm.. I have struggled with my faith too. I'm an only child, lost my dad when I was 13 and my mum when I was 23. For so long I didn't know how to relate with God. I felt like the least favourite of HIS children. I just could not understand the trajectory of my life, couldn't open my bible, hardly prayed.. Felt so alone.. Few years ago I started doubting the existence of God literally, but out of HIS bowel of compassion, HE allowed me come across messages by Apostle Joshua Selman and gradually I began to find Him again. I'm not where I want to be in my relationship and intimacy with God but I'm in a far better place, and I trust God to get better as I go. I genuinely pray for everyone to find God and have all their burning questions answered because one thing I know is that there is an answer to every puzzle about our loving God

I admire these ladies alot! Dimma for her put together life, and Jola for her eloquence and her speaking in the face of authority. This just reminds me of an episode on submaroach where Bolu Jola's brother spoke about Jola and it is exactly as Dimma said it. Jola is so passionate about societal issues, and if she decides to ever go into politics she has my support.

OMG!!! I had a great time watching this. I even paused at some point to get some ice cream because I was having such a good time. Both of you seem to share similar values and beliefs and I think that is an important ingredient in friendships. I love how playful you both are with each other. Also, how Jola articulated about people trying to "contentify" their lives and friendships is very apt. I think it's really sad to know that people are focused more on how their circle is perceived by others than if they are actually building a great quality/wholesome circle/friendships. I love what Dimma said about focusing on the genuine friendships you have even if they world doesn't see it. I honestly do not think these things need to be publicised to be genuine. What all these points to is the need for social validation. Because in my opinion, resisting pressure especially in our late 20s/early 30s should be a walk in the park, if not for the need for validation and "acceptance" by people whose opinion should not matter. I'm looking to read Chimamanda's books this year; will start with Half of a Yellow Sun. Sending you both love.

I enjoyed the different parts of this conversation, and I loved the part where you talked about faith. I think it helps, even with the struggle to not push the question of Faith to the background but continue to seek answers cos the Bible says, if you seek me with all your hearts, you will find me. Also, even when we are not seeking Him, He is actively seeking our attention and earnestly desires us to experience His love in this fallen world. So, in short, keep seeking, and you'll find Him in Christ. I pray you both continue to increase in wisdom, favor & the blessings of God in every area of your lives in Jesus' name, Amen.

Love you guys so much💖💖. So happy that you guys did this together, it was really great watch🌸. Looking forward to one with Fk soon, sending positive vibes, lol.😁 So concerning being broke, everything you guys said makes so much sense. Plus I think being content is really underrated. I am in my 20s, so I can relate to being broke a lot, I'm also in medical school, so I may still be quite broke for a while yet😌. I started a business but I have had to take a break in order to cope with school work and all (I know there are super heroes in my shoes that do it all though😥). I'm sorry this has been quite long but my question basically is, are there tips for people like me (who are going to be in school for a while😫) to cope with brokenness, especially as you see your classmates from primary/secondary school moving on with life, achieving lots of amazing stuff and all. P.S: a lot of money goes into comfort stuff especially in medical school😪

I've been reading a lot of self help books and sometimes they can become a tad bit heavy. So I'm looking forward to exploring the Romance genre again. I used to love reading Harlequin Romance when I was younger, so I'm sure it'll be really nostalgic but also different. In terms of friendships, you are both right, but you especially hit the nail on the head with appreciating the friends we already have. Anyways this was such a treat! Thank you both.
