Hi! I have the exact same b310 and I was wondering what springs you are using for the rear end. Also how hard was it to fit those carbs? Did you need to move anything around?

Yeahh R1 carbs Surpised these aren't too big ahah I'll have them on my 2.3L 8v redblock (Volvo) engine soon

They are too big, but they run really well. I should have gone for CBR 600 type carbs. I had the R1 carbs laying around so just decided to use them.

@@tss240zg yeh, these are very versatile carbs. They should be just right for my slightly spruced up 2.3 (lil port job, good road cam, nice exhaust, 3mm shaved head - yes - cuz E85) I'm a bit scared hopefully the internal passage will flow enough fuel. Yeah you'd make similar power with smaller carbs but with better efficiency imo ! Great cars, too bad Datsun are non existent in France
@tss240zg

@@victorpelini5995 Should be perfect for your built, considering they're used on very high revving motorbikes. Agreed the CBRs would give more efficiency. Let me know how you get on. Datsuns are pretty thin on the ground everywhere, even here in the UK.

@@tss240zg well, they rust, and were considered cheap economy car at the time sadly.. man I love these they look cool Yeah hopefully it'll fit in the engine bay, might be tight as the Swedes decided to slam the engine against the firewall on the 240s. But at least all the weight is behind the front axle so there is that

Yamaha R1 carbs. Very easily tuned, they were superb before dyno'ing the car. I sent them to a carb specialist to be cleaned up who jetted them from experience and engine specs, ran really well. I've never had to touch them in 4 years of driving.
