I agree, you should get ad revenue. Mine were coming every 3-4 minutes but was listening at 1.25x. It would be different if I weren't trying to work with my hands while listening. The break in chain of thought is one thing, but a bit more frustrating when I have to put stuff down, dig out the phone, and hit skip. Some of those ads will go on for several minutes if I don't hit skip. Anyway, back to work, while listening to Scott Adams. Blessings!

In 1960, US public school students tested against public school students from 28 industrialized nations, they scored 3rd in Math and 5th in Science. In 1995 they tested against students from the same 28 nations and scored 28th in Math and 28th in Science but they scored 1st in "Self Esteem". It was and is deliberate. Precisely why they stopped teaching Civics and Government in schools as well, if you have no idea what the Constitution is or what your rights are you won't complain when they are stripped from you.

I learned long ago not to judge a state by the big crazy cities within them. So as a Californian, I can hear and read all about how horrible the state is while feeling actual sadness at the people who will never come here to see all the amazing beauty this state has to offer. All due to them thinking the whole state is as crazy as LA & SF.

@Will Williams that was in central Oregon near Burns around 200 road miles (weather permitting) SE of my town. Northeast Oregon is mountainous with the Wallowa, Eagle Cap, Elkhorn, and Blue Mountains, as well as Hell's Canyon making up the boundaries. Wallowa is called the Switzerland of America complete with its own Matterhorn and large glacial morains framing a saphire blue lake. The upper Grande Ronde flows out of the Elkhorn gold country (Baker County) and lower Grande Ronde River is a wild and ancient wilderness (roads have never been cut into this country) and popular with rafters and fisherman in canyons almost as deep as Hell's Canyon but far more narrow. The movie Paint Your Wagon was filmed in the Eagle Caps and Elkhorns. The Grande Ronde Valley is a popular biking destination with easy rides (little incline) on hundreds of miles of paved but largely empty country roads.

The protesters, rioters, leftists, liberals and such think that they are right and the rest of us are wrong. They have been stultified. This has happened over time in the public schools a little at a time. I'm 69. If a 9 year old Grandchild walks up to me and starts talking about a current social issue that was discussed in school recently I'll be shocked by their (miss)understanding of the issue. Shocked because it's nowhere near to my understanding of the issue. However, if they walk up to a 30 year old neighbor, and talk about that subject, that neighbor might see it more in the same light as the child. Through the stultification process the powers that be, behind the curtain, are gradually bending the younger minds a generation at a time. Some of these kids are incredibly smart in technology but stupid in common sense normal Human actions.

All Marxist professors need to be cleared out and never hired in a position that includes education. All the media at least leftist/marxist media needs to be treated the same way. @@gudgen2004 My personal thinking is the rapture is only days away and probably before the election. I think the election will turn out so different from what anyone thinks. I will go way out of an limb. The DNC wants M. Obama to run as Bidens VP. Which I think will happen. Then the election will be thrown in Bidens favor through voter fraud which is already showing itself. Once Biden is POTUS he will be declared unfit at which time the Obama's will share the office. I believe this will be the little head with the wound of Revelation. The wound is Obama losing the presidency getting it back is the healing. The world will be amazed and will follow after him. The only way B. Obama can get back the presidency is thru his wife as he can't legally as I understand it. If the rapture occurs before the election Biden is sure to win and there will be no one to watch it anyway. I think the reason he is called the little head is he isn't the slightest bit qualified for the position he held for 8 years. Trump showed his up in only a matter of months. This whole thing we are going thru now is all a setup. What do you think? We should know in day if M. Obama is Biden's pick I would think.

That place is infected with young people who have decided that they need to be gay and like to play dress up. They march around daring someone to look at them or god forbid say something. Suddenly half the NW is gay or lesbian. Fashion I suppose. Then in Portland itself the so called "homes" parked on the streets permanently. Old RVs that are literally held together with pieces of wood nailed on. Flat tires etc. Then there is the rudeness and ruthlessness. The rudeness is stunning. Almost every time I went there I would come close to a fistfight. The country can be lovely but the people? Fuck 'em. As you say let them eat each other.

Growing up in the LA school system I didn't really learn that much which was partially my fault but with 45-50 students in each class it was hard to stay focused. Once I started to learn the three "RRR's" my life took off!!

Then keep going east on Hwy 140 to the Steens Mountains, highest place you can drive in Oregon at a bit over 9,000 feet. There are vistas so vast in eastern Oregon you can hardly believe you're still in the lower 48.

Medford is known as Methford....avoid like the plague. Hugo or anywhere between Grants Pass and 7 Feathers Resort is God's Country. Just got back from Wenatchee traveling through Madras/Redmond/Bend. You can have the Willamette Valley. That's where the nuts live

We moved from Grants Pass to Phoenix, AZ over 3 years ago. The weather is beautiful. The politics suck, although southern Oregon is a lot more balanced than the blue (and crazy) north. I miss that river!

Gee, that's such a huge change in every respect, but particularly climate-wise. I've always wondered what it would be like to live in a desert city like Phoenix.

@@BrianBellia Phoenix is amazing for 8 months of the year and then we tolerate the summer by cowering inside next to the AC. Arizona has much more freedom from government in many, many ways. Sunshine almost everyday never gets old.

@@brettoberry3586 Thanks for that, Brett. I was hoping you'd reply. I found that very interesting indeed, and kinda like what I expected. It sounds rather like Sydney (Australia) where I live - lovely for around 8 months until the awful humidity sets in in the Summer months. I don't mind the warm weather, but wet and warm - yuck!

I realized how terrible our education system was when I found out that no child I know of, except mine, have ever heard of the Battle Hymn of the Republic or any other patriotic song.
