Love Dave Ellefson! When I was a kid in the 90’s I was one of the very few females at a gig, must have been about 16, he smiled at me and gave me the thumbs up. Was on a high for weeks, also Pantera were supporting. Good times, just corona now.

@MacedoniaGamingNetwork - MGN what crack are you smoking? Maybe in this song he's replicating the guitar, but you are obviously unfamiliar with Megadeth's discography or you are a Metallica fan boy. Dave may play with a pick, but he can easily stand next to Cliff. Cliff had room to play because the guitars in Metallica aren't too complex, hence why everyone and their mothers learn Metallica songs when they first play guitar. In Megadeth, the guitars are doing so much, so the bass sometimes have to thicken it up by following it. But, most times Dave is doing something not only extremely fast, but very intricate.

Do you see my point? By the way, Dream Theater has lots of groovy and powerful (or straightforward and in your face) songs. Yes, they're famous because of their insane technicality, but they also have songs like As I Am, The Mirror, A Rite of Passage, Paralyzed, among others.

Make sure that Dave is there.... Don't know if he'd do anything now-a-days, but he did scare the sheott out of a drummer of mine. He wore a Metallica shirt (his typical wardrobe) to a meet N greet and was warned about it (another dude in line) and told that he better not let Dave see it. So he turned it inside out and put it back on. When Dave saw it (oh yeah....drummer dude is about 5'6" and 115 lbs. soaking wet) he stood up and pointed downwards at his victim and said (in the black tooth grin voice) "Nice shirt.....what's it say????" Scared the pee out of him and he literally ran for his life......got nothing signed......and is scared to death of Dave Mustaine to this day. Likely has reoccurring nightmares over it....he's really that kind of person. But yeah......try it some time, I doubt it'll go over well......
