The Silent Generation came after the Greatest Generation. People my grandparents' age who were born just before or during WW2 and had to learn to stay silent in the house during the Blitz.

Dave: "They didn't have the concept of different generations in the 1800s." Bullshit. The concept of generations dates all the way back to the late 14th century. A good (and long) video could be made just fact checking all of this show's many inaccuracies. I'm guessing he meant named generations, but that is not what he said. Also, he's wrong there too. The Greatest Generation was not the first named generation. The WW1 generation was known as the Lost Generation.
