My mom and her friend were VERY VERY close to where the Son Of Sam shot 2 people. They were 18 and were on their way to jersey but got lost in Brooklyn, I believe. They wore their hair in baseball hats, and pulled over on a side street to look at a map. Then they heard gun shots and obviously sped away. The next day in the paper, he shot 2 people in a car ONE BLOCK AWAY, at the exact same time they were there!! One of the victims died, and the other survived... it is so chilling hearing my mom tell that story. That it could have easily been them instead.

What do you think of David’s life changing conversion to serve Jesus and forsake the devil?
@matts.6558
3 жыл бұрын
@david faulds That’s a great question and something I wrestled with, however the answer is more simple than you think. It’s to protect his family and his father. Remember the commandment honour thy mother and father. The cult knocks off everybody that snitches and he handed over photos of his family to join the cult (not that it would be hard to find them with all the press, but still). Now you might not agree with that, but he isn’t sinning by doing so, because you’re damned if you do (family may be killed) and your damned if you don’t (cult goes on and other lives are risk). Certainly not an enviable situation to be in, but the authorities really don’t seem interested in chasing cults anyway, must just think it’s all hogwash or only psychological issues, satanism really runs rampant throughout society in it’s light (appears as good) and dark forms (degenerated obviously evil), many involved are the higher ups of society (doctors, police, lawyers, politicians, judges - but don’t misinterpret, it’s not all of them at all). For example, you might not think much of what comes out of Hollywood and the music industry is evil, like Bob Dylan’s music, but it is satanically inspired. Search is KZitem Bob Dylan deal with the devil and you’ll see him say it in his own words humbly and honestly. Search Tom Brady’s wife witch, and you’ll hear him sitting in a barbers chair joking about how Giselle uses white magic to help him win. This stuff is real man, but we are willingly blind until we seek truth and the real God of the Bible (Jesus Christ).

I dont see a calculating phycopath in him. think he was a genuin case of someone who was very badly mentally ill. having said that hes in a controled enviroment now and maybe still is medicated. so weather he would degenerate if release is always a possibility. dosent seem to be any kind of power game that hes playing. most phycopaths always refuse to admit thay did the crimes even in the face of overwelming evidance. thay refuse to admit where bodys are buried just to hurt the familys. or there so disconected thay come over as lifeless.or thay sound so fake in there pretend remose its glearingly oviouse to all there bullshitting. dont see any of that in him now.

Since we're all guilty before God and we all deserved hell thank God that he sent his only begotten Son down to this earth to pay for our sins that we could never pay he paid our sin debt by shedding his Holy Precious Blood on the cross for our sins and was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures King James Version Bible the thing about David is is he received forgiveness and received the Lord Jesus Christ who can only pay for our sins is the Lord Jesus Christ. David Berkowitz has been washed by the blood of the Lamb and he will enter Heaven because he's born again by the spirit of God self-righteous people think that they're good but God says there is none good so what a powerful testimony God wrought through David. David has been forgiven David received God's grace which is available to all people everyone's going to hell until they repent ye and believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hayley M I think he’s the real deal. Fakers generally overplay and will be overly animated and they’ll talk about how humble they are, how much they’ve changed, etc., without any or little prompting. David doesn’t do these things. He also blames absolutely no one but himself - doesn’t even allude to something or someone bearing responsibility. People also can’t hide their eyes. His are calm, with feeling. Fakers will also rarely take their eyes off the person they’re talking to when they’re trying to convince them of something. The eyes truly are the window to the soul. So, yeah, I think the guy has genuinely changed.

Well the fact that he is being interviewed and still receiving attention for sadistic and horrendous crimes should be included in the context. His crimes were big publicity and still inspire conversations, books and movies in the mainstream culture which is what drives the continuing interest with his story. He seems pretty harmless today and is obviously someone who has suffered from mental illness early on and has gained some wisdom and insight into this over the years. After all, even an incarcerated criminal has to figure out how to cope and survive which explains his turn to religion. It seems like he’s someone who has intelligence and has managed to codify his behaviour in a more productive way through spiritual teachings. He fell into a dark sinister type of philosophy seemingly which led to him committing horrible crimes and now has embraced a different philosophy through Christianity. I think he’s right where he needs to be and at this point he’s smart enough to know it.

God has given me the strength to live in comfort with all of my physical needs met, with no worries or concerns for the rest of my life. It's been tough, Larry.

larry king's genius is that he could ask these mundane questions to heads of state, murderers, children; how's the food, what is your room like...

Yeah everybody here saying he's a shit interviewer doesn't realize how little any other interviewer likely would have been able to get out of half the people Larry has interviewed.

This is one time I truly believe if he would have been let out he would have been a great thing for the world. Feels strange to say. But he could have changed a lot of lives. And you could see when Larry asked what it was like to kill. You could immediately see the pain and sorrow in his eyes on his face. He is a changed man

Absolutely agree. Let's say if I ever went out and drinking beer with this man, i think in no point at that night i would be in danger. I think in all seriousness he is "cured" . And that's also what prison is all about, not only punishment. Have a nice day sir

"You know i killed a bunch of people but you know that was like back in the day im a good ole Christian boy now oh god has accepted me im just a normal person" im thinking people have to seee through this bullshit but half the comments are "oh this dude really is a good Christian boi lets just kind of FORGET THE FACT THAT HE KILLED LIKE A SHIT TON OF PEOPLE LETS ACCEPT HIM AND RESPECT HIM!" Fuck therse no point they're literally normalizing serial killers and its working people think these sick bastards can just "change" but what they did will never change what goes around comes around

What a shame for Maury Terry not having enough time to see that he was right in every way. By the way....SOS...meant S.O.S. (Save Our Souls). The letters he wrote had so obvious messenges that would easily guide to the truth. He was a victim himself. So frightend of what would happen when he decided to tell the truth about some really high established people. He was waiting for someone like Maury Terry to reveal this but even though Maury was very close to the truth, the final steps couldn't be made because very powerful people used all their influence in media and politics to stop Maury.

Terry Maury was looking for details that fit his theory instead of focusing on the facts/evidence that pointed to Berkowitz.

Whatever he was involved in must have been incredibly wicked. He refuses to say what it was. You can tell that whatever it was he wants absolutely nothing to do with it.
