Thanks for the invitation to interview! The OUTPOURING of genuine, heartfelt support has been incredibly humbling. I was told after the baptism that I'd be gaining an instant family, and that turned out to be so true on a much wider, global scale. Thank you everyone.

I was a convert too. Born Catholic, studied in Catholic school. I felt the difference strongly of how the holy spirit worked in me to have my testimony. The simplicity of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the strong confirmation of the Holy Spirit , the oneness and everything just made sense to me . Our very life is for God's plan for us.

I loved following his journey and I’m so happy for him and this interview. I started watching quite some time ago, and watched everything of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. While I was listening to his video about his Manti temple visit, my husband said, “Does he have any idea what a great missionary he is being?” I’m so happy for his humble heart and his conversion.

I felt the same way after David‘s report from the Manti temple visit, he just oozed spirituality, I knew that he witnessed something special. I have been following him on his journey and what impressed me then was the video after visiting General Conference and comparing Lehi‘s dream to his experience outside of the building. That image stuck with me. I’m so happy that he found the church, I’m a converted former Lutheran and could never go back. ❤️

The whole time I sat there thinking he was a member of the church he has this light that members have and found out nope not a member yet then thought watch he joins then last week I saw that he was baptized and I about threw my phone I was so happy and was like knew it. Same! I was like, he’s gonna end up getting baptized. He keeps going back to LDS churches, temple open houses, general conference, etc. It was so fun to watch him be drawn to it over and over again from the outside. I immediately sent the baptism video to my daughter with 🎉🎉🎉 and tears rolling dune my face when I saw it, because I’d shown his channel to her and had told her how much I enjoyed his videos and that I thought he’d eventually convert because he seemed so positive about his experiences. I especially was impressed with his seeing the symbolism between the people mocking the truth seekers from the great and spacious building, and then being yelled at as he entered the conference center. That really struck a chord with me. So fun to see him ignore that mocking and reach for that fruit himself, even though it can be so hard to do. He did it! He made it. So happy for him and proud of his ability to stick with his convictions.

David, welcome! We are really happy for you! It isn't easy, but it's worth it! I got converted and baptized at the age of 15 (l'm 40 now) and ever since then all big main things that I cherish in my life came as a result of my belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For me, if that is not a testament of a true church of Christ, then I don't know what is. The fruit is good.

I can't tell you how much this man's story has moved me. I am in awe of David and have watched a dozen of his videos since discovering this story. He's so brave and his journey is inspiring. It gives me cold chills to think about how God brought him to the truth. He is a lot like Joseph Smith. I pray he doesn't pay any attention to the crititics. 52 temples would be awesome to see. This makes me so happy. God is prevailing and is brining His elect home. The amount of good this man is doing is so commendable. Welcome to our LDS family. Thank you for your inspiring journey.

I came to his story by chance when looking at U tube videos. He was talking about different churches and then he went to an open house at the Manti temple and listened to his impressions. I remember thinking to myself, if he continues to search honestly like he is now he is going to join the church. He did continue to search honestly and the Lord led him to join the church. This was a strong testimony to me that the church is true and that Moroni’s promise is absolutely true for honest seekers of the truth. what a modern and inspiring story! He is a modern day Joseph smith and the Lord has led him to the truth. The Cardinals were not a coincidence but a sign that the Lord was sending him. Paul Whitsitt Ontario, Canada

My mother did exactly the same thing as yours when she was a young girl and in Canada as well. She finally found the true church soon after she was married. Two female missionaries gave her a Book of Mormon. She and her friend read it together during their coffee time together. That was what ended her search. She and her friend were baptized and they started a branch in their area in Ontario

Brother Boise, after General Conference you mentioned the feeling of "information overload". That is how I always feel too. Depending on how you learn and retain best, then either see the conference on-line, read or listen. I learn best by hearing, so I store the talks from several conferences on CD or a memory stick and listen while driving alone in my car. Some talks bore you after a while. But some will stand out and you will find new wisdom in them every time you see, read or listen to them. Best greetings from Denmark. I joined the Church in 1976, best thing I ever did.

I've been a member my entire life, but something I'm putting together here is that the tree of life to the hebrews is the temple. And when you said the fruit of lehis vision is the Love of God, well, what do we do in the temple? It isb100% family based. Baptism for our dead relatives for the salvation of their souls, we go to the temple, the iron rod guides us to the temple which is the gospel of Jesus Christ, to be baptized for others and be sealed for always. Amazing.

I've always felt you would join the LDS church David and so happy you have been baptized . Your story reminds me of Joseph Smith looking for the true church and getting his answer. Stay strong in the gospel brother. You are in the right place 😊❤ Ralph LDS member New Zealand

My mom's family searched so many churches, too! My mom grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. She and her family tried out every church there, even the RLDS. When my mom discovered the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it was unlike anything they had experienced before. They said it felt more complete, more whole. My mom and her entire family ended up getting baptized, and they remained true for the rest of their lives. ❤ I love this gospel so much!! The Book of Mormon IS, without any doubt, additional scripture that helps anchor me in my faith in the Bible and that God still speaks today. I loved seeing Rebecca Devonas do this interview because I love her "In the Book" podcast (flooding the earth with testimonies of the Book of Mormon). I've been anxious for more episodes, and so I love her doing this interview!🥰

You have definitely been lead and I’m so grateful your heart was open and willing to hear and feel his gentle promptings! The lord is so good and so kind and so merciful! Giving your 14 day notice was a version of a fast that showed the Lord how serious you were. He guided you every moment after that.

WHAT EPIC COURAGE! This was a beautiful conversion story. So inspiring! Stay the course, David. My guess is that not only is the Savior pleased, but the adversary also has you in his sights. God bless you brother.

Thank you so much for telling your story. I have been a member my entire life and your story reminded me of how important it is to strengthen your faith by asking questions, exploring, discovering and being re-committed to something you have had your entire life but have taken for granted. What a remarkable journey you have had. You will be an inspiration to others your whole life. Never lose that spark and joy that you feel now.

Hi David!! It's me Annie!! I don't know if you remember me. You should!! I have followed your journey and It's been great!! I never quit encouraging you to keep following the Cardinals. I am so happy for you. Having been born and raised in California and having lived in Idaho with my husband of almost 41years, I have never actually seen a Cardinal. Pictures yes, live no. I was always told we had Blue Jay's in California but never saw one until long after I was married at a family reunion in Southern Utah at my husband's uncles house. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Cardinals are beautiful too. One day I am sure I will see a Cardinal, a real live one and not just a picture. 😊😊 welcome to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Welcome home. 😊😊😊

I am sure the artist that painted the cardinal in the garden room of the Manti temple so many years ago was inspired to paint it just for David’s benefit. David is a great influence on many people all over the world.

I was born into the LDS church (faithful pioneer great grandparents on all 4 sides) and have been a seeker throughout my life. I love to learn of all religions, so from the beginning of your podcasts I was enthralled to hear your experiences. Early on I felt that God was leading you, and using you as He did Paul. Your experiences are powerful missionary tools to bring the restored gospel to all who are seeking. I love you brother!
