One of the best songs Neil ever wrote. An absolute banger. My favorite line: "How can you run when you know?"

I remember as a kid being in my parents car as we drove to the campus to try and get my grandma out... she was cleaning dorms and the national guard turned us away. I'll never forget it.

I'm sorry. The ARMED government marched in MILITARY FORMATION toward unarmed KIDS with LOADED WEAPONS AND FIRED AT THEM. 161 ROUNDS. And you compare it to people being let into the Capitol building in silly costumes, walking around with guards giving them tours AND THE ONLY VICTIM WAS A FEMALE VETERAN SHOT BY A COP UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE??? Rethink yourself.

I was there on campus that day, in the crowd.

God Bless you for being a direct witness. What you guys stood up for back then, still resonates and makes more sense than ever in today's world.

Th@@tedr.166 Thank you for your kind words. May 4 was a pivot point in my life. I'm a gentle activist even today. "Ohio" is my anthem.

I was at Ft Knox Kentucky doing Basic Training during Woodstock, I was stationed in Manheim Germany on May 4th 1970 when I heard of the kids murdered on the campus of Kent State, I couldn't believe it, I laid on my bunk and thought that I, I could have never fired on those kids of I were a National Guardman.
