Congratulations on getting the drum kit. I wondered where it ended up. I bidded and got a few of Greg Lake's items from Julien's. I am an ELP fan and was exposed to them by my late brother. I was 5 in 1971 and he just got back from the Vietnam war. He played Lucky Man and that started my exploring Emerson Lake and Palmer and his massive album collection. My brother always gave me these mixed cassette tapes and opened me up to all generes of music. He passed in October of 2019 and I am forever grateful for him giving me the gift of music. I never got a chance to see ELP perform, but I did see Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy and Asia during the Royal Affair tour. He's a phenomenal drummer and the band is great. I'm looking forward to the 50th anniversary of ELP and hopefully they will make it to Texas.

I had a chance about 8 or 9 years ago to buy the Blue sparkle double bass Ludwig kit that Tommy Aldridge played with Black Oak Arkansas back in the day but just didn’t have room for the double bass back then, now when I see that kit on KZitem it makes me sick I didn’t pull the trigger. I’m so happy this story has a happy ending.

According to the Julien's website: "Lot closed - Winning bid:$75,000." Plus buyer premium, perhaps?
