Lord Jesus, teach me to love as You love - unconditionally and sacrificially. Fill my heart with compassion for others, and help me to extend grace and forgiveness to those who have wronged me.

I met Yeshua a couple times he spared me on 2 O D.'s and a chemical explosion I jumped out of a car on fire at 50 miles per hour! As the ground passing by it spun my head back to the back tire! That's when it happened? I felt a pull on the back of my head and I looked back I see him as the bottom of the tire rubbed my nose I look back as time stopped or slowed down then he's gone? And time picked back up! And I went rolling down a street on fire. I got 2nd and 3rd degree burns all the way up to my face! 3.5 weeks in hospital healed no marks except the skin graph on my palm. The driver pulled over at a church none of the less! And the street name? LUCKY STREET! NO LIE GOD IS REAL GOD IS ALIVE AND I WORKED WITH HIM FOR 2 WEEKS AT A CONSTRUCTION SITE AND MICHAEL WAS THERE TOO!

We’ve all heard about the lion laying down with the lamb, that’s fine and dandy until the lion becomes hungry and then it’s dinner time. If there are lions in Heaven there must also be all sorts of carnivores, tigers, hyenas, crocodiles, wolves etc. Those poor little lambs won’t stand a chance. When the herds of sheep and lambs have been depleted and all the wild animals become mad with hunger they’ll turn on all the saved Christians. No guns for protection in Heaven so what will Jesus do to save his flock? What a dilemma.

The Valley of Elah, some 20 miles WSW of Jerusalem, between Socoh and Azekah, and some 6 to 7 miles east of the border of the Philistines, from Gath, was the sight of a battle between the Israelites, who were situated on the eastern side of the "mountain", while the Philistines were on the western side of the "mountain". For 40 days (1 Sam 17:16), the Philistines giant warrior Goliath, taunted the nation of Israel.(Note: Goliath was 9 ft 5.75 in. ft tall, "six cubits and a span", and weighed perhaps some 400 lbs, being "all muscle", the weight of his "iron blade" at the end of his spear being about 15 lbs (or 600 shekels), while his copper coat of mail weighed some 125 lbs (or 5,000 shekels), 1 Samuel 17:4-7) King Saul, who was "head and shoulders taller than all the people" (1 Sam 9:2, perhaps almost 7 ft tall), who was the nation of Israel's first king, was unwilling to fight Goliath, as was the rest of his warriors, becoming "terrified and greatly afraid" when Goliath said: "Why have you come out to draw up in battle formation ? Am I not the Phi·lisʹtine, and are you not the servants of Saul ?" "Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and strike me down, we will then become your servants. But if I prevail against him and strike him down, you will become our servants and serve us.” The Phi·lisʹtine then said: “I do taunt the battle line of Israel this day. Give me a man, and let us fight it out !" "one on one".(1 Sam 17:8-10) When David arrived at the camp of Israel, he was NOT there to do battle, for he was the youngest of Jesse's sons, in which David's three oldest brothers, Eliab, Abinadab, and Shammah were soldiers in Israel's army, serving under King Saul.(1 Sam 17:12-14) David, perhaps 17 to 18 years old, was sent by his father, Jesse, with food and "supplies", grain, bread, cheese for his three oldest brothers to have while at the battle lines or "the front", as well as to check on their welfare.(1 Sam 17:17-22) David's oldest brother Eliab, became angry with David, telling him when he arrived that "you left those few sheep in the wilderness and came down to see the battle" and David was asking those near him: "What will be done for the man who strikes down that Phi·lisʹtine over there and takes away reproach from Israel ? For who is this uncircumcised Phi·lisʹtine that he should taunt the battle line of the living God ?"(1 Sam 17:26-28; Note: Eliab never "lifted a finger" to fight Goliath, being "all show and no go") So, David after putting on a soldier's metal outfit that was with King Saul, decided to take them off and "go it alone", without any military equipment and face Golaith "head on".(1 Sam 17:38:39) David told King Saul that "Your servant became a shepherd of his father’s flock, and a lion came, also a bear, and each carried off a sheep from the flock. I went out after it and struck it down and rescued it from its mouth." "When it rose up against me, I grabbed it by its fur and struck it down and put it to death. Your servant struck down both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Phi·lisʹtine will become like one of them, for he has taunted the battle lines of the living God.” "Then David added: “Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV, Hebrew יהוה, or Yod He Waw He), who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear, he is the one who will rescue me from the hand of this Phi·lisʹtine.” At this Saul said to David: “Go, and may Jehovah be with you.”(1 Sam 17:34-37) David now left Saul and went to a nearby stream, ' choosing five smooth stones and placing them in his shepherd's bag, and his sling was in his hand ', so that "he began approaching the Philistine", Goliath.(1 Sam 17:40) Upon seeing that David was just "a boy" (and perhaps less than 6 ft tall), he said: "Am I a dog, so that you are coming against me with sticks (to throw and the dog chase after them) ?”1 Sam 17:43) Goliath further says to David: "Just come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the field.”(1 Sam 17:44) David is undeterred or unafraid, telling Goliath: "You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I am coming against you in the name of Jehovah of armies, the God of the battle line of Israel, whom you have taunted." "This very day Jehovah will surrender you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head; and on this day I will give the corpses of the camp of the Phi·lisʹtines to the birds of the heavens and to the wild beasts of the earth;" "and people of all the earth will know that there is a God in Israel. And all those gathered here will know that it is not with the sword or the spear that Jehovah saves, for the battle belongs to Jehovah, and he will give all of you into our hand.”(1 Sam 17:45-47) David and Goliath came closer and closer to each other, so that David reached in his shepherd's bag, grabbed a stone and place it in his sling and swung it, so that it flew straight into Goliath's head, knocking him unconscious, whereby David took Goliath's large sword, and cut off his head. At that moment, when the Philistines knew that their giant warrior was dead, they "fled the scene", so that the Israelites took off after them, killing them in the Valley of Elah all the way to Gath and Ekron some 10 miles away.(1 Sam 17:48-52) And why did the Israelites win the battle ? Not because of their own "strength", but because David alone trusted fully on Jehovah God (see Isa 26:4, KJV), whereby "the tide was turned" in the Israelites favor.(see Prov 3:5, 6)
