Amazing, all the different elements that went into this video. 1. The scenes are from the 1947 movie "Black Narcissus", 2. the music by Ryuichi Sakamoto from the film "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence", 3. the lyrics for "Forbidden Colors" by David Sylvian 4. with the title from the book "Forbidden Colors" by Yukio Mishima. Thank you vertigo60 for putting this video together.

This work of musical art came along at a critical time in my late twenties, as a man I was transforming from self ignorance to working out who I was and what next spiritually if I was going to survive, I already had experienced one devastating marriage and two close encounters with those who mattered dearly, then for a short period someone came along who changed my concept how I see myself without doubt, I changed and till recent when I heard this classic again for the first time since that encounter, I was flushed with emotions that took me back to a very special moment in time. Love and regards, Kattie, if you read this I never forgot the magic, Lou.

Many contemporary filmmakers would do well to study the visuals here. The story is clear without any dialogue.
