I have been a huge fan since the age of 12.. I couldn't find Damage on iTunes and David sent personally me a download of it some years ago when I mentioned on twitter (and he was active on it) - so kind ...He's a total unicorn and a special person. I have always found his music so meditative since I was a young girl. I hope whatever he's doing he's happy and creating what he wants to. Amazing musician.

As an artist the words are so true. It's tough on a minor label but so much, much more rewarding in life and artistically. Great man is David Sylvian.

Totally unique. I have loved his music since Japan, I can't understand all of it, but the bulk is amazing. His 'Nine horses' project is just beautiful work. To be this talented and hardly ever played on the radio is just criminal.

David's songs are too intelligent for radio. People that enjoy listening to mainstream music don't want to be introduced to music that's actually thought provoking, technical or creative because it sounds off to them.

@@jasonegeland1446 I do not agree with you when you say that people don’t want to be introduced to new sounds or new music. It’s true that the industry or msm won’t promote anything that doesn’t follow their commercial means but the beauty of music is that once you hear it , it touches your heart , your soul or even make your body move , without any preconceived ideas . look at babies reacting to sounds , voices , rhythms ❤️

@@justemerci1885 Remind me of the topic? If I said that I was probably speaking irregularly and meant something else. Sometimes I get in a hurry and try to express things too quickly. Maybe I can rectify it if I can somehow remember the artist or topic at hand? All the best!

Sylvian has dropped off the face. His Facebook and twitter accounts are gone. No new work since 2017. I feel sad. I want him to be okay and produce work again. Where is he?

It’s very difficult being a fan of someone who is so emotionally over complicated, I appreciate that is probably the source of such wonderful music but frankly, I wish he would just roll the bones an get on with it.

He will be what he wants to be not how we want him to be?..and that's what made him so enigmatic..authentic is too common a term
