It is beautiful how much his daughters truly loved their dad. I saw him and that female he was married to at the end. They were on Dr. Phil. I was horrified how she treated him. All I could think of what is wrong with you!? This man obviously loves you. Simple as that. How can you talk to and dismiss a man you gave your heart to. Women are suppose to be a helpmate, encourage her husband take care of him and watch out for him just as your husband is to do for his wife. I cried that she just did not seem to get the importance of her marriage or see the incredible love for a man who was all about family. It just made me angry watching her put him down. I cannot imagine what his daughters felt to see the father they loved mistreated. There was just something in that Dr. Phil show that made me want to bring Davey home and take care of him. Give him a real home. Share his joy and his sorrow. At his age I wish he could have had an exceptional woman who lived for him, not what she could get from him. In our golden years we should be able to love and be loved without fear.

one of the many attributes I love so much about Davy is something you can see about him, and that is ; he loves with a passion...no matter what he is doing or spending his time on...I understand that he loves his horses, but I think that no matter what he spends his time and energy on...he puts just as much of himself into it and Always loved whatever he was involved with at the moment and always put great care into everything he did ! I just loved that about him!

Well, I'm a first generation watcher but my parents didn't want to watch any hippies on Monday nights. So, I'd watch if I were at a neighbors house. I also remember watching them MORE on Saturdays just because my parents weren't hogging the TV then. In short if he would have asked me he'd be wrong because I would have said Saturday morning too.

"He was the first crush of so many women..." Yes! Davy Jones always was, and always will be my first love! Every man in my life...for the rest of my life...was weighed against Davy and they all came up short! No pun intended =))
Davy once said he was raised in "the church" in England. Said his mother was the organist in his church and everything "revolved around the church." John 3: 16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. verse 17 - For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
