Great work man!! 1 tip: I think that when u shut the gate closer to the raiders but u leave all the others open, the attackers go for the open gates; Next time try to close all the gates then to open the one closer to the enemy, and when they are near it shut it up and trigger the attack Keep up the nice work and this awesome game

goats are good currency, keep your limit at 20% and sell off all but 1 male and female each time a trader comes around. same goes with the cheese you can make from goat and cow milk.

Put the towers behind the platforms, double your fire power, the towers still tank a lot of fire.

If you're struggling for straw, then plant more barley. It has 50% chance to produce extra straw when harvested. Straw shouldn't be a resource you're struggling with. Also, the meat harvesting limit has been set to 100 by default in the recent updates. Set the limit to infinite so you won't have to give the butchering tasks manually. Before upgrading to a new era, save up some knowledge points to unlock key techs. Even though AI progresses through eras on its own, it does so quite slowly. You should have enough time to accumulate 20-30 extra points. It is especially relevant when advancing to the Iron Age. By saving up enough points for the steel tech, you can skip making iron tools and weapons which have the same stats as the bronze ones and immediately go for the steel ones. Also, pigs grow up fast and breed twice a year. They are a good source of meat and leather.

Pravus: I don't want them to penetrate my holes. Archer: Phrasing! I've started playing the game after watching you. It's a bit clunky and the AI of you people can be... lacking. But it's a relaxed game and a time period not often covered.

Pravus, build towers far away. Same principle as the walls, they will draw attackers AND give you a FAR earlier warning.

Something which might be interesting in this game is enabling the player to go out on raids. Sort of a high risk high reward scenario, where you send out Maybe 20 people for a season, equip with all your best bows and swords and stuff, and have them attack an AI village. You could easily loose 10-15 people, but you might win the raid and capture a load of loot, probably get some prestige for showing how you a force to be reckoned with, and perhaps capture some prisoners, which would join you after Maybe a year of you having to feed, clothe, and house them for no benefit.

Complains about the walls and losing but instantly uses tech for farms. And not on armour and shields

Leather armor being the only armor in Bronze Age tech? Where's the bronze plates? I think the tree needs an update. Just stick the leather on the shield tech and bronze with the reinforced shields, since you're already doing that kind of thing, anyway.

Well, good defending strategy but.. why on earth you are set the speed to 1 million in the moment you send your guys out? XD the fighting AI is crap and you could lose double or tripple the amount of mans, you would lose if you micro it just a little tiny bit.... e.g. 6:40

Reasonable sources of copper, lots of Iron and almost no tin is a very realistic map. Be thankful you don’t have to trade for all your tin.
@p75369

Yeah, a realistic map would have either copper or tin, requiring you to trade for the other. Historically, Iron replaced bronze, not because it was any better (the opposite, it was much harder to forge for no benefit in the end product), but simply because you didn't have to trade for half the ingredients.

@@p75369 and you're forgetting the whole bronze age collapse where they had a plague ( a lot of people died), "globalism" trade broke down, there was no wood left on tyrus/cyprus and you had an invasion of foreign peoples. Iron required less manpower to do the same thing in terms of weaponry but also allowed for better buildings and thus more survivability for everybody, everywhere. (which created the silk road trade route again)
