They're from Australia and LIVE on sand in the wild! Sand is absolutely fine if you're husbandry is correct. They're extremely intelligent and won't eat sand unless you're feeding them incorrectly.

@@TA-to7kt sand is fine, but reptisand and calcium sand aren't. The sand they live on naturally is completely different. Also intelligence isn't anything got to do with ingestion of sand, when they're young they miss their bugs regularly, and dropping a piece of salad or grabbing a bug coved in sand happens regularly. They also lick things to investigate them.

He doesn't need a night bulb al so that food is crap only feed fresh veggies and live bugs

@@valeriedougherty6935 It's called a heat emitter and they ARE useful if your house falls below a certain temp at night. I use one during the winter months (only) and my beardie is thriving.

@@youreinvalid8493 If you're using the correct sand, consumption isn't much of an issue (ie. compaction, etc.).

When he is bigger u need a 120 long usually as baby’s they need a 40 long
