I really appreciated Mr. White testifying to the divorce settlement negotiations. It wasn't just that Amber accepted tax free $7.5 million which she'd claimed was earmarked to charity, but also that she had Johnny pay $13.5 million in outstanding debt they had hanging over their heads from their 15 months married to each other. He stated Johnny absorbed all that debt and paid it off from the sale of some of his property.

He mentioned Heard tended to drink more wine, I think, but so has everyone else at this stage. Heard's legal team, are blunt, objecting to their own questions, which is the oddest thing I've ever seen, I can fully understand at this stage, if a persons ability is simply being discredited to the point that they can't even finish their sentences, then they have absolutely every right to fight for every clarification and word they can get in, with out wasting time in elaborations later when the point was just about to be made. Heard's team have got nothing on Depp and they are simply wasting time with their line of questioning half the time, spending most of the time telling other experts how they should do their job, whilst misquoting accountancy jargon back to the accountant, after being told the accountant shouldn't try to be a lawyer. I’m a lawyer who has watched bits and pieces of it. Parts of it are surprising, like the fact that her lawyers, who I’m sure are highly paid are SO ineffective. They seem to me to be arrogant and combative, but pretty empty headed. Lots of their question are about trivial details which are besides the point. They miss objections which might help keep witnesses away facts damaging to their client, and are frequently off base with their random objections, which is why the Judge seems overrule or diffuse most of their objections. The “compound question” objection being the best example of this. When lawyers object in a mindless manner, they not only loose credibility with the Judge, but they loose credibility with the jury. Having only watched a little bit of this, I think the jury will believe that even though both of them were a hot mess by normal standards, Depp was the victim of domestic violence, both verbal and physical. Since she was the constant aggressor, if he ever fought back it was in self defense. He seemed to be trying hard to get himself together through their relationship, while she was doing her best to drag him down.

Exactly, I had the same impression, JD was clearly the victim, AH was the perpetrator and even guilty for the defamation. The clinical psychologist explained it well. She agreed to the evaluation because she thought she can trick the psychologist that she has PTSD, when she was abused before, and then abused from her husband, that would have helped her claim. But the psychologist said she crossed 19 of 20 questions, which stated more that she has borderline personal disorder. The way how she tried to trick the psychologist confirmed her real mental health issues which is borderline personal disorder. That way she was more aggressive, she was the dormant person in the relationship and the violent person.

All he wants to do is clear his name. Like he told the jury, no matter their decision, AH's accusations will follow him for the rest of his life and beyond. She can’t change her story, but all the evidence shows that it didn’t happen. So I’m really curious.. how’s she going to explain everything? The police body cam footage shows the apartment which is nothing like she explained, and then also why not take pictures of all the damage she talks about? Like why not take a pic of the smashed chandelier? The wine EVERYWHERE etc? And if she was documenting everything, then why not like in Australia, take pics of her smashed up body, instead of taking pictures of thee cuts on her arm? And in Australia we have audio of her admitting she did it, that’s coming. And then if she claims he belittled her and never let her speak and taunted her, but the audios show it was the other way around. And also if you are terrified for your life all the time with this monstrous man, you don’t abuse him like that because you would loose your life.

Although I felt kind of lost here and there (as I’d missed bits and pieces), I did come to understand the part about Musk’s donation in AH’s name - which honestly didn’t surprise me that much, just because we already knew she hadn’t actually donated anything yet, and we knew she started dating him after the divorce from JD. Finding out that the ACLU not only knew that the article was about Johnny, but that they actually helped AH put it together, and it being mutually beneficial for them surprised me more. That was a DEVASTATING blow, in my opinion much more so than the Musk thing. As you pointed out, it proved that the article was indeed about Johnny (which, despite the attempts to be “subtle” about it for legal reasons, came across to the public very clearly, as evident by the direct consequences JD’s suffered), but that AH really did stand to benefit from painting herself a victim of DA. It wasn’t a shot in the dark, she knew exactly what she had to gain by doing that. Whether or not the ACLU knew she was lying about everything, I’m not sure. I’d like to believe they took her word for it (“believe women!”) and, while they certainly stood to benefit from the situation, thought that they were doing a good thing. This witness is so sharp. I know it frustrates him not to be able to answer during cross examination but tbh nothing in cross examination matters. What the jury will only remember is that Amber got 14mil dollars for 15 months of marriage, that is ridicoulous amount of money for that amount of time. And it really doesn't matter if he has liabilities prior to the marriage and making less than what he owes. She entered in a relationship with nothing to offer to help him resolve that and make his financial situation worse by taking more money and racked up 160k in wine bill. I would definitely consider that financial abuse and gold diggering.

There are channels covering the trial without commentary if you'd prefer that type of coverage. When watching a commentary channel, one should expect commentary. By the by, Mr. Jenkins testimony proved Amber lied about the poo, prior testimony stated Amber said it was the teacup yorkie's poo another testimony Amber said Mr. Depp pooed on the bed and he wasn't in LA. Point being Mr. Jenkin's testimony further proved that Amber Heard even pathologically lies about something as insignificant as a turd.

Amber, "The Aquaman star has stated on multiple occasions, including in U.K.'s high court (under oath) in 2020, that she donated the settlement as promised." This is important because the the judge's decision in the case was influence by Amber's statement, the judge reasoning that Amber could not be a money digger as Depp claimed, because Amber had given the monies to charity. Will this fact give Johnny factual basis to make an appeal in the British court?

She is aware of all the legal actions taken by AH between 21st May and 27th May 2016 and that should be very interesting! I am still puzzled how on 21st May AH did not have an obvious injury to her cheek but she can arrive in court on the 27th with a very fresh looking purple/blue bruise. Where does that number come from? 2.) Why is Amber Heard countersuing him for 100 million Dollars (exactly double, and why so much more)? 3.) Could JD win, but sue her only for 30 million Dollars for example? 4.) Why is the courtroom (except the judge and sometimes the audience) standing up at the beginning and ending of a session for a few seconds? 5.) What does the lawyer sitting to the right of Johnny Depp do? I have seen him talk only at the very beginning... but I love how chill he seems :D 6.) What was the judge talking about at the end of Thursday? She spoke to the lawyers of both parties about 19 and then 20 somethings... 7.) How can the case advance if you can't do any outside reasearch based on the information the witnesses gave you that day? Like search for evidence that supports or contradicts certain statements. 8.) Do we already know when Amber Heard will testify? I'm so sorry for my novel of questions; I'm already happy if someone could answer just one. Thank you!

I remember when I first watched the live feed that Amber’s lawyers seemed to be a little blindsided. I don’t think she told them a lot of true evidence. Being experienced attorneys they had to realize how inept they appeared while trying to catch witnesses lying by asking the same questions over and over so many times or asking about makeup to people who obviously don’t wear it nor know much if anything about it. I’m surprised Johnny’s team didn’t object more with the “ask and answered” reason. I suppose they could have been trying to show how much Amber’s team would badger witnesses due to lack of legitimate questions to prove whatever point they were trying to make.
