Father Mike, with all that you do for your local and online flocks, I'd imagine that you're a busy trooper and may not have time to read all of our comments day after day. After all, you need your due rest. So, I would completely understand if you were too busy. Nonetheless, if you do read our comments, please know that I appreciate your service. It's simply wonderful. I don't need any acknowledgement. It's enough to be blessed by your daily presentations of CIAY. Pax et bonum!

Day 194..! Summary of the Sacrament of the Eucharist..! Man oh man… I am so blessed to be here..!! I CANNOT WAIT to hear you again and get to know how to make the life of my blessed priest easier. He is totally stretched AND stressed..! I am stymied as to how to help him except to pray unceasingly for him. So… my love for him is shown in that way..! He is not like Augustine, he is very holy, but I feel like Monica, praying for him unceasingly..! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 He is having a tough time right now. 😔😔😔 I am praying for all of you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Please pray for me. , Fr. I am thinking about the saints that lived solely on the Eucharist…given this grace by God as a witness to the marvels, the miracles, the sustenance of this “life” giving food for our souls and bodies. I understand your sadness, Fr Mike, leaving this section of the Catechism. Jesus dwells in you so deeply……His heart united to yours, His sadness felt by you at the lack of regard for Him from so many! The heart of the church….the Heart so wounded. I am praying that souls become on fire for the Lord in the Eucharist! On this day 194 in the BIY, the connection of the ember the angel placed on Isaiah’s lips to the Host placed on our tongues….WOW. A marvel to meditate on for the rest of our lives.

These nuggets are like seeds planted in our hearts and continuing to bear fruit. God wants to feed us, right from Genesis, thro Exodus (the roasted lamb) to John the Baptist - Behold the Lamb of God, the Paschal sacrifice. The Mass is meant to get us to heaven. He receives from the giver; I don't know if lay people give; but he gives us the Message; in several ways: this CIY, homilies; and the Transubstantiation process; then handing over Jesus; to the people. Jesus was handed over by Pilot. Sometimes we have wicked priests; Pilot is nothing in comparison. The people wanted Jesus. It is all a miracle; to change the history; to that of bad memories; to a good memory; and an IMPORTANT CORNERSTONE PIECE; THE CORNERSONE THAT CRIES GRACE, GRACE UNTO IT... The piece of the puzzle matches. The priest places the GRACE piece in our mouth. Song: Grace, Grace, God's Grace. Next post will be the song.

Jesus said, “If you believe, you will get anything you ask for in prayer” (Mark 11:24). Don’t reduce this grand statement to the category of new cars and paychecks. The fruit God assures is far greater than earthly wealth. God wants you to fly free of yesterday’s guilt, free of today’s fears, free of tomorrow’s grave. Sin, fear, and death; these are the mountains He has moved. Note that He is not waiting to love you, He is not waiting to pursue you, He is simply waiting for you to trust Him. Let’s not limit our prayers to the things of this world. Let’s reach out with open hearts and open hands to ask for true treasures: a freedom from worry and fear, a greater trust in Him, and a peace that far exceeds our understanding. Let’s dare to ask and to believe He will answer. Let us all receive the Eucharist daily. Let us all appreciate the fact that the Holy Eucharist awaits us, every day, patiently I might add, for He knows us better than we do. My Lord and my God. (KB)

Interestingly the other day I was asking my adult daughter and her friend, Abby, what they would like for breakfast. I ran down a list of options. Abby said, “I can cook. You don’t have to cook for me.” I responded, “I know you can cook, but I like to cook for you.” My daughter chimed in, “Food is my mother’s language of love.” I must be emulating Jesus and I didn’t even know it. 😀
