Thanks Ben for this video on nutrition. I agree with all you've said. However, for me, having struggled with weight all my life. I now realise that it's very much to do with "sugar" both artificial and natural. Sugar has been put into so many processed foods; also fruit has been cultivated to be far sweeter than ever before. Most shop bought drinks are sweetened. This increase of sugar in our diet has caused people to have higher levels of the hormone insulin in our bloodstream. The result being significant increases in obesity and type 2 diabetes. I have found that reducing the number of meals per day (from 3 to 2) as well as eating meals low in sugar and not snacking; has helped me lose weight and keep the weight off. We are all different and the foods that I am sensitive too are not necessarily the same as foods for other folk. Unfortunately, as you say, it's something we have to find out for ourselves.

Do you do any plant based eating? It has lowered my inflammation and pain to my lowest level since my accident 25 years ago.

I have a mostly plant based diet. I tend to avoid telling people what to eat though as I'm not a qualified dietitian, this is all just standard information
