I too loved this when I read it last year. It will be on another level if one gets to read it on a rainy day. I totally agree 🙌

Read any other horror books since then?

@@IndianBooktuber Yep. I read What moves the dead & What feasts at night by T. Kingfisher this year. They're horror novellas with a little bit of fantasy touch in them. Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu was a classic that I read last year. It is translated from French and like a story which inspired Dracula to be written. All these 3 are super atmospheric and also don't take much time to read.

I also read this during rains in 2020 lock down. There was one story where Ramsays were returning to their hotel at mahabaleshwar or somewhere after shooting and they saw a ghostly head floating along with them... I was a bit scared honestly... we often think.. Whatever Ramsays showed in their movies is fake and that soothes us while watching those movies. But after reading those real stories.. I am more scared while watching their movies.. After knowing they actually saw ghosts while shooting their stuff.

What? Don’t think there’s a story of Ramsays in this book. Pretty sure I remember all the stories. Is that some other book? I know there’s a horror book just about the Ramsays and actual horror happenings in their lives

@@IndianBooktuberThat's the thing I felt awkward about. The stories of the hills were great, chilling but didn't end with a conclusion. I think these were real stories which the author heard from her parents so she wrote what she heard may be. Btw can you recommend me a good horror book?

@@achyutsingh4881 hmm I understand your point. From what you said about your preference, try The Shining by Stephen King.
