I appreciate a guy that doesn't make a project out of nothing. Your no nonsense approach to things is refreshing in a sea of content creators who seem to believe that you need to take 8 hours to sharpen chain to a mirror finish only to hit an old fence staple halfway through the first tree and ruin it. Seeing someone who knows that good enough is in fact good enough for the situation is refreshing. Keep up the great work.

I was rockin my og 394 for many years. Definetly needed to re tighten shit on the regular. Bought a 372 shortly after and its been my favorite go to saw for firewood and cutting trees ever since. I have to admit I've had a stihl 661c for couple years and ive been rather impressed. Not a husqvarna dealer for miles. Not that they ever have issues but Ace is the place around here. I run full skip just to cut back on sharpening. Watching you backchain like a madman makes me rethink my options. I only cut for firewood at this point so its not do or die like it used to be. Couldnt agree more about finding guys that wanna work. I miss trees. Im built for it just like you.

Awesome comment. Yeah it’s hard to find a good Husqvarna dealer. I can buy saws locally and that’s wear it stops. I have to fix everything myself or send it away if I want a good guy to fix it. Saw shops have the same problems with employees we all do. I’m not into the skip tooth but my application is very specific.

I had the rope issue last week with the 592 .My saw is all blue lock tight yet the two small screws that hold the spring housing to the outer cover backed out enough for the hook on the spring to come off it’s post. I re wrapped the rope 3 times and pre set it. After a few pulls it wasn’t pulling the rope back in. The tension on the main center bolt has to be just right . To tight and that won’t wind up. I was also warned the plastic gear will strip but I haven’t had that issue. Bar nuts are sex one of my favorite parts of the saw . I top with a 61 and I’m constantly still eye balling the old style nuts while I cut 😂.

I really wish Husqvarna wouldn't have put such a low rev-limiter on the 592xp, it starts pulling spark at like 11.75-12k where 13.5k would be what I'd think of as a typical rev-limited saw ignition. With the 3/8 7pin you're bouncing on the limiter even in 24" wood at times! The 8pin is a decent size but even then I hit the limiter a bunch.. now I had mine ported and gained about 25% so I'm actually running a custom 9pin 3/8 24" for most of my work. I wish they had done a couple of things differently but I gotta say that stock, this saw owns the 90cc class hands down

Important to note: Husqvarna for years recommended 33:1 mix for their 70cc+ class saws and any that get used "professionally" IE used hard.. that was screenshoted and shared on the forums pretty widely and most dealers will recommend a 40:1 mix in these 592s. Gotta realize this is a strato engine so it's already getting about half the oil a typical 395 style engine would from its fuel mix.. use at least that 40:1 and you'll easily double the life of the engine.. I personally go 36:1 and use the XP+ oil but that 50:1 might make the Epa happy but it's not gonna make the saw happy
