its funny how dogs will just pick up stuff like that all on their own. If you reinforce that behavior you can easily get them to do stuff that would normally require intense training. We didnt reinforce the behavior but when my Rottweiler was a puppy she watched my roommate pulling weeds, sniffed the weeds, and then walked into the garden and started pulling up the exact same weed out of the ground. She also saw me stacking firewood and started carrying around chunks of firewood.

Morgan, I know what it is like to be alone most of the time. From cancer/transplant/assault, I have severe nerve damage which the majority of the time leaves me in pain sitting in a recliner. Before all this hit at 50, I was an extremely active outdoor person. I love your day-in-the-life videos the most; they give me a 20 minute escape from the pain, and fill me with a little bit of joy. Perhaps you could do one each month, and playlist them as “a year in the life!” 🙏🏼🌿🔥

As someone who has been writing since they were 12, I couldn't agree more. For as much as I love writing, it is something I have to focus and put effort into. It takes thought, planning, effort, and determination to tell a story coherently. No matter your process the most important part is to just sit down and write. Sitting on it as long as you don't treat it like an egg waiting to hatch and let it sit too long.

@@nukenade4623 I understand completely it can be very laborious. Academic and technical writing are incredibly difficult and you have my admiration at doing, and completing it. *@Gold Shaw Farm* 15:20 Maybe you should add a heat lamp over any "egg laying places"(name?) areas, so the eggs don't freeze & crack, when it's cold. Maybe add a timer, so it's only on during the night or day (whenever they lay eggs in the day?), or from when you lock them in until you collect the eggs? Maybe also build more "egg laying places" that are also more convenient for the birds to use than having to search for a place, and it makes it easier for you to find them.

Hey! I have been a K teacher for 15 years so I have read more children's books aloud to kids than I can even remember! Kids are obsessed with animals so anything with a dog, especially one as great as Toby will be a great hit. My advice is to combine messy and silly with a lesson kids can learn. No matter how many times I read "No David" they absolutely crack up when David runs naked down the street. If there's a funny/embarrassing story involving Toby, I'd include it. It would also be great if Toby taught a life lesson, like how to be patient or walk away when others annoy you, how to deal with a "mean kid," or how it takes hard work and not giving up to become a working farm dog. Just some ideas. Hope it helps!! Toby is a very very special dog.

Hey Morgan & Allison! I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for letting us into your lives on your beautiful, fun, busy farm. Getting to know you and your animals has bee a real joy for me. About 10 years ago, I had a spine/spinal cord injury. At the time I was a single mom (still am) to a 10 year old. Now she's 20yo and living in a different province going to college. So, it's just me and our dog, Max (another great, big, furry guy). I'm sure folks would think I'm a bit insane for talking to him the way I do each day, but he's my number one these days. Anyways, with very limited mobility and constant, permanent sciatic nerve damage and pain, my days are spent being upright for about 30 min at at time and then having to get flat. Since I spend a fair amount of time lying down, I choose to find KZitem channels that are interesting and/or fun to watch. Yours *always* fit the bill in both categories. Thanks again! Heather🇨🇦

I don't think that this kind of videos are boring at all. I really really enjoy this. I don't think it's boring to live this life, too. I live in the city, I spend most of my time either inside cross stitching or playing games, or, when I do go outside, it's usually either for groceries or to have a walk by myself. I'm kind of used to it. Plus, you have all those animals to have your company. You have your best friend, Allison, living with you, so you're definitely not alone. Didn't expect to see WandaVision, especially at such emotional moment. Oh I miss Aaron's Pietro so much. Finished the show as the finale came out & booy, I the series was much better than I expected. What do you this of the show? As for writing, you can't constantly write. I wrote a 29k fic recently & I had such a massive burnout after that, I had to take some time off from not only writing, but reading as well. I enjoy it, though. So I'm sure you'll get to your goal with finishing the book. :)
