Your recovery was quick .I went in and left the next day. It took me a week to feel like myself . No major problems just sore and the gas isn't gone yet other than needing to go to the bathroom soon I hope . I had mine Sept 2. I eat fine no nausea or anything. Occasionally a little sore when I cough or sneeze ,but overall feel pretty good.

Thank you for your video! I have a consultation June 18th and I'm so nervous to book the actual surgery. I'm getting the attacks every other day now and I cant deal with it. I have 3 kids 5, 18m, and 2 months. Things are so hard to do with this pain. I'm so nervous but feel better knowing the pain after the surgery isnt excruciating.

Thanks for uploading this :) I'm due to get mine out in November and I can't sleep thinking about it! I was even thinking of putting it off till after Christmas but I got the pain over the weekend again and I guess it reminded me it has to come out. I think the waiting is the worst part, half your doing well 👍🏼

I appreciate your video. I know everyone has a different experience but some of the others are sooooo hard to get through. I have surgery on Wednesday. How are you now?

Stephanie Brown good! No lasting issues. If it wasn’t for the tiny incision scar, I could probably forget it happened. I was VERY nervous prior to surgery and I think if I knew that it wasn’t going to be as bad as I thought, I might have handled it better. Good luck to you on your surgery. I’m sure, like me, it’s worse in your head than it really will be!!

@@shannonomahen2618 thanks for replying. Your video is comforting. I think I watched too many last night and I was too freaked out to sleep. What did you eat that evening thee day of surgery? Any negative effects with food in general now?

Stephanie Brown that night i ate regular food. I was scared but no problems. For a couple of months after, I would occasionally have what I liked to call phantom gallbladder attacks but it has been a long time since that happened. And trust me, I didn’t exactly change my eating habits.

@@shannonomahen2618 ok. That's good you didnt have to drastically change your habits. Several family members have had it as well and I remember they havent either. Thank you for answering my questions. I appreciate it.
