To start the day a sunny ride on tarmac to the remote settlement of Likley, where we stopped for a breakand enjoyed having a look around, before riding approximately 140km on gravel and very very slippery mud to finaly arrive at the Gold rush town of Barkerville, once the second largest town in the Americas, behind only San Francisco. A well preserved historic town with authentic artifacts, well worth a visit.
