Hi Gavin. The first of all, your videos are excellent. Could you please tell me exactly what type of orange gel did you use for this flash. I have got Godox AD200 pro flash (I think yours is the same), but it did not work as yours. I have used the AD-S2 standard reflector with grid, but I don`t have proper orange gels. Thank you in advance. Zsolt

Hi Gavin, when I set my WB to 3000K, without the flash, my photo is blue just like yours. However, when I shoot with the flash like your setup, the blue tint goes away unlike what you have here at 3:19. Why is that? Thank you Gavin for any input.

This is very nice, added lots of confidence as tomorrow a photoshoot on traditional dress wear. Lol, i was thinking , re-thinking what different styles i would take the models in different wears at same home/location/same hall? It would be really boring to have in same hall even though changing angles on the models shoot, but got a good idea of using candle in daytime ! Let me try this out. Thank u so much !!

5:41 The flash is on the Right side of the photographer, yet the shadow being cast from the hand of the model is demonstrating the dominant light source (Flash) should be on the left side of the photographer... how was this overlooked???
@HarshvardhanSaboo
4 жыл бұрын
Just to get an idea what about the shadows created by the candle. currently the shadows are going downwards. However with the candle near Chest area it should upwards. plz check an confirm the logic behind it.

Hi there I do love your videos. They are really inspirational! I'm a little confused about you talking about changing the white balance? My understanding was that white balance only affects shots when shooting JPEG.... Did you shoot this in JPEG, or are you shooting in RAW and I've just shown I don't understand anything much at all?
@davidscanlan6326
2 жыл бұрын
OK, I've done some digging. The white balance doesn't directly affect the RAW file, unlike in a JPEG file. However when a white balance is used, it is marked up in the EXIF data. When the image is edited in post processing, the editor should use this data. Therefore it simplifies the creation of the final image...
