This was filmed during my day trip to North Macedonia. The peafowl were in full splendor at the Saint Naum Monastery in North Macedonia. Mating season for peafowl is typically February to July. After the season, the males drop all of their long tail feathers. They grow them back in time for the next season. White peafowl are not necessarily albino, the white feathers are typically a genetic mutation called leucism, which only occurs in Indian Peafowl.
