The large dairy farm near us has two milking parlors like that, one does 40cows the other 50 at a time, at two locations. All total just over 6000cows they milk, the last 2 years I helped with their corn silage, it is very impressive! It still bogels my mind the huge scale of whole operation!

I was think as the barley was coming out the drier as it piled up it looks damp. It’s amazing how the moisture in the corn reacts to its flow and how tall it stands as you unload it with a reasonable drop. Well it’s not amazing maybe I haven’t forgot as much as I thought 💭 great vid nice to see the corn in the shed 90%. Bet that door peed you off a bit. Dads who’d have um.

Had a your of the dairy a couple of years back, have to say I had preconceived ideas of large dairy units, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Welfare was very good and cattle were very happy and healthy. They love the rotary parlour we saw some go round twice or more! There is a jet of cold water at the end to make therm leave but some just won’t go🤣. Tanker driver brings a empty 30.000 ltd tanker and takes away a full one every day ( May even have been twice a day can’t remember) we went round the calf unit as well, equally as impressive. They buy a lorry load of milk powder at a time 😮. So who left the door OPEN ? Can’t just blame the old man for everything that jumps out into his path🤣
