I know this sounds cliché but I really think the best videos are whatever you feel called to make. You can tell when someone enjoys what they’re putting out verses just posting for the sake of posting. Have your content line up with your life in the sense that when you’re feeling self helpy- your videos reflect that. When you’re feeling budgety- your videos reflect that. When you’re just living life and going through the motions-your vlogs reflect that. Don’t worry too much about having a niche/specific video idea because we enjoy you being you at whatever phase you may be at :)

Anything that burns is basically bad for indoor air quality! Especially if your windows are not open most of the time. I think it’s better to just quit “smells” altogether. When I feel the itch I just make a seasonal stovetop potpourri :)

I’m pretty positive incense is toxic too. Perhaps you could diffuse some dog safe essential oils instead. That would be the least toxic option. As for skin struggles, I’ve sooo been there girlfriend. Supporting my liver and working on liver health REALLY helped me. Just something to consider if you haven’t looked into that yet. Sending love

I just turned 24 and still struggle with my skin. Honestly only started having issues about two years ago. I’ve tried cutting out all of the things (and I will say cutting gluten and extra added sugar help me, but everyone’s different) Im on birth control which I’m sure helps calm it a bit and even tried changing to one better for acne but it ruined my mental health for months so I switched back. Anyways, I resonate with you 1000%. You are NOT alone at all! It’s def taken over my life at points and I can’t let it. Thanks for sharing ❤

🌷🙏🏻 GIRL! You ain’t alone! I’ve had acne since I was like 13! It’s truly miserable. I went off the pill a year ago (such an amazing decision for me), and even tho while on it I still never had the best skin it still wasn’t as bad as how it’s been being off it. BUT I just started using honey on my pimples and it’s actually working! We bought it from a local farm! May be worth a try (coming from someone who’s tried like everything, but wants to go the more natural non toxic route to treat my skin now)! I’ve been amazed at the results so far! Motivational doc on yt was the one who suggested it! He also said cutting out sugar as it’s inflammatory! So that’s one of my goals too, is to eat less sugar! Praying for your skin, I know how much embarrassment it brings especially being in our 20s still dealing with it! I feel like I’ll never get rid of mine but I don’t want to think so negative and say it’s forever when I know it probably won’t be! 🥺🙏🏻

Hi Michelle! I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone in your struggle with acne. I am 25 and I’ve been battling it since I turned 18. I feel like I have tried absolutely everything to clear my acne myself or with a dermatologist. However, recently I went to the dermatologist I was started an antibiotic along with 2 products called finacea and tretinoin and my breakouts have almost stopped completely. There is a dermatologist on KZitem named Dr Dray and she does great education on the products that I listed as well as many other products. I know exactly how deflating acne can be to your mood and self confidence. I want you to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and you will find what works best for you, it just might take some time, but don’t give up!

We make Well Plated by Erin's recipe for sweet and sour chicken. She has a crockpot one as well, but the one we do is the stove one. No sugar. It uses honey, soy sauce, pineapple juice, ginger, it calls for some special sauce or siracha (which is what I use). I actually really like all of her recipes that I have tried! You also do bell pprs, pineapple, onion. The chicken is more sauteed though so not super crispy

Hey Michelle!! I too have struggled with acne since I was about 15, I’m 23 now and I can pretty much say I am now acne free! Just dealing with a lot of scarring now. What helped me, and something i would recommend looking into, is seeing an esthetician. My esthetician helped me literally clear my skin. It was an expensive process but for me it was the best investment ever!! I did deep facials once every like 3 months and her clearing out all my pores helped me finally get control of my acne. She also helped put me on a skincare routine with products that she’s seen have helped so many of her clients. Now I’m focusing on Microneedling treatments to clear up my scarring. Just something I wanted to put out there, because I struggled with acne mostly on me cheeks just like you and it totally affected my confidence :))) Love your videos!! ❤️ hope this helps. Not wanting to sound like an ad either haha, just my personal experience!

I sooo understand your skin struggle. I had acne until I was 25. I remember saying exactly what you said to yourself “i think I’ll never ever have clear skin” bc you feel like you’ve tried everything. I was always super conscientious about what I ate bc sugar and diary flared it for me and so I became very restrictive and obsessive about my diet. I think that mental stress made it worse. I felt like I was going crazy. Every day waking up and my first thought would be is there more acne this morning :’( Finally 4 years ago I simplified my routine to a very gentle cleanser and basic moisturizer.. it restored my skin barrier (which was my biggest problem). Then I continued to focus on restoring my gut instead of just avoiding inflammatory foods. A great quality probiotic, eating some fermented foods, multivitamin and some additional vitamin B for a while (I found out I was vitamin B deficient) and trying to keep a positive attitude finally did it. I could not believe it. To this day, I like to maintain a healthy diet and take a few vitamins for my overall health and well-being but I no longer have to obsess about eating perfectly. I have food freedom again :) anyway, I’m sure people tell you to try things and I don’t want you to feel I gave you this unsolicited advice. Just wanted to share my experience bc it wasn’t complicated, it’s realistic and doable and it seriously changed my life and my confidence. That’s why I’m sharing. I think you look stunning with and without makeup but I truly truly know how frustrating it feels to have adult acne. It takes a toll on you. Sending so much love❤
