you guys need to make an app to integrate REW and Sigma, that's what 99% of people need from this.

Thank you for making this video it has been much awaited. I just purchased dsp250/100 and have 2×kab30(best mini amp) I have to ask as nobody on tech staff has been able to answer. What is the advantage of the 2×50 Over the 2×30 it clearly seems to be rated for more power,at a lower voltage & higher impedance but still stable down to 4ohm? Is THD better? To sum up what I have noticed the 2×50w seems to be a better amplifier for higher voltage. You have done the DIY community many great services 👍

I love it 💖🤩🤩 Dayton Audio has done it, there about to get even bigger , they have created a way for you to build your own audio projects and more , they make all kinds of speakers 🔊 and equipment , it's PERFECT you can't go wrong with "DAYTON AUDIO" , I'm about to buy a ton of stuff from them , I'm gonna build Bluetooth speakers 😁👍🔊🔊🎼🎶👀,

Hi there. For the KAB-215 amplifier I've seen 3 DIFFERENT power profiles. 24V @ 4Amps, 19V @ 1-5Amps and 12V @ 1Amp. Which ONE is correct??? Because UNDERpowering a board is just as bad as OVERpowering a board. Thank you.

I wish PE had a board that supported the AirPlay protocol. The AirPort Express units are getting dated. Obviously these boards would have to connect via WiFi.

We actually have a great solution to this called Hi-Fly. You can use airplay to send music to any device that has Hi-Fly built in and we sell adapters to add Hi-Fly to current systems and DIY builds. Here is some more info: www.parts-express.com/hi-fly-audio

I have a pair of already built (expencive) speaker thar are out off balance (in my ears) - middle bass way to high, highs to low, etc. I would like to correct this by using DSP. Is this possible with this module + software? 1. measure speakers - how? via bluetooth app and the phone mic (app internal software calibration for apple, ...) or someting with PC? 2. let the software / me flatten the courve (not corona...audio) 3. hook up speakers, be happy (can one also do this at severals volume level? -> low-> more bass, high-> less bass) Is this possible? Thanks for advice!

Reach out to our Tech Department if you need helps with specifics...but yes, DSP can help speakers balance out your highs and lows plus so much more. Here is info for our Techs though: Email: Tech@Parts-Express.com Phone: 1-800-338-0531 Hours 8am-6pm M-F EST / Closed Sat & Sun

Sureh Electronics JAB boards VS Dayton KAB. Who was first? Who copied who? Are there any differences?

Sure electronics does OEM work for many companies Dayton audio is one of those companies though I'm sure they made some tweaks to the design. And IMO do a better job of marketing the products

@@matthewmassey2333 haha yes marketing wise sure electronics is terrible and could learn a thing or 2 from other brands. I've been using the wondom boards for quite some time now and must say that combining the amp boards with the battery protection boards works like a charm. I still want to try out the Dayton boards but I think it won't make a huge difference in sound quality etc

@@JustArtz They are identical. The only difference is the red silk screen and the Dayton Audio branding. Both are fundamentally the same WONDOM product

Is there any way to connect a DAC to the board?
@PartsExpressOfficial
3 жыл бұрын
The ADAU1701 contains its own DAC, as the input signal is originally digitized so it can be processed by the DSP. the signal chain is analog input -> ADC -> DSP -> DAC -> amplifier -> speaker outputs. If you have any more specific questions, contact our tech support: Email: Tech@Parts-Express.com Phone: 1-800-338-0531 Hours 8am-6pm M-F EST / Closed Sat & Sun

You can! The ADAU1701 has multipurpose GPIO pins that can be used to output an i2s serial audio data stream to a compatible DAC. On these boards, the J2 connector (the one next to the four potentiometers) contains these pins, and are programmable to the needed MCLK, BCLK, LRCLK, and DATA connections in the SigmaStudio software. This header also has a GND and +3.3v pins if needed for your i2s DAC.

How many algorithms can you use per card?
@PartsExpressOfficial
4 жыл бұрын
It is going to depend on which algorithms you choose to use in SigmaStudio. For example, something like a SuperBass algorithm is going to take up significantly more resources than a single high pass filter would use. But in general, there are more than enough resources available on this chip for most projects. For example, none of the example projects provided on the product page come close to maxing out the resources of the chip.

Goddamnit you guys will you all quit saying "speaker building" because your not talking about building a speaker your talking about buying parts for a custom sound system layout. If you were speaker building you would be buying spiders/cones/motors/baskets/voice coils/tech.
