Totally nice area, basically representative of Daytona. I have rode my bicycle thru these very streets many times. I agree! My husband and I moved here last year and I’ve had coworkers ask what area I live in and when I tell them they say “wow that’s the hood. Aren’t you scared.” Tbh this is the most peaceful quiet neighborhood I’ve ever lived in. Most are friendly and the ones who aren’t don’t bother. I don’t mind it at all. Tbh I feel like the ones who say it’s so horrible and scary are people who have probably never lived in a major city. This is heaven compared to Detroit or parts of Los Angeles!

New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Portland-Oregon, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oakland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Saint Louis are slums. Slums are very dirty trashy filthy smelly looking low income neighborhoods. Ghettos are just low income neighborhoods. People make their neighborhood what it is. In Jacksonville people take pride living inside the ghetto communities. So they try to make it look respectable and representable. It's only a small amount of hoods in Jacksonville that look run down and really messy.

I've never been to the U.S but after I've seen few videos from Charlie, I'm surprised how this rich country looks like. In the media you normally see only beautiful and elegant parts of the U.S but reality is ..😐 the hoods look so scary and depressing !!! I can't even imagine to spend there few minutes, how women can live there?? Aren't they scared?? I would be terrified!! Any way, this hood in Florida looks nice.

Projects need landscaping. Put in some trees and scrubs. Otherwise the sameness makes everything look so depressing.

Some of these houses you can get for 75k. Honestly not too bad of an area and a bicycle ride from the beach. Can you please delete this video before the rest of the country finds out?

Bruh when this whole lockdown shit is over with u need to come to Palatka, Florida. It's in Putnam County the 2nd poorest county in Florida. It's a small town but got so many different hoods and projects. Also, we got one of the highest crime rates per capita in Florida. It's a crazy lil city bruh, I'm telling u bruh. There is so much drugs around here it doesn't even make sense. We like right in the middle of everything we got Jacksonville north of us like an hour away, Orlando south of us like an hour and a half away, Gainesville bout 45 mins away, Daytona bout 45 mins to an hour away, St. Augustine bout 30 mins away, and we just right in the middle of all that shit. I could keep going just trust me it's just a fucked up lil city. Really the whole Putnam County just fucked up. It's not just Palatka, u got East Palatka, San Mateo, Crescent City, Welaka, Interlachen, Hastings, a bunch of poor ass lil cities and towns and Hoods all over the place fam. Anyway, stay up and God bless bruh!!
