I'm the one dazed and confused with all this supernova of well-learned sheer talent. If this is 7 years ago, i wonder how they're playing now - here we have a subtle bassman, two inventive and quite competent six-stringers, and another fibre-driven well-focused drummer, different from the one whom this middle-school star shall have sung with in videos from 2014 to 16 on YT. Still, it's quite impressive to see Traditional Hard Rock being revived this way, as a kind of urgent legacy not to be forlorn within the spirits of endlessly reborn souls. I mean, these young folks live in a free country, where Artistic expression is respected at school, til the 12th grade, and they're not on stage at gunpoint. They seem to love what they're doing, and that's great to see. Muito Bom !!

So I came across one of these School of Rock videos in my YT suggestions, can't remember which one - I guess it came about because I watch musician type stuff. Like others I was drawn into the performance and looked for more. The musicians are all talented, but this comment is about Addie and her performances aged say 9 to 12/13. There's a couple of things that make her so good to watch. First, as others have commented, at that age she's just so cute, and comes across as genuinely likeable and funny. Just a normal girl, who wants to have fun singing rock music. Then there's the performances. This girl is just crazy talented. So much power in her voice at that age. The tone makes you tingle - she can create emotion with ease. Her timing is impeccable, she really knows when to really hit those first lines and when to punch the words out. And then those little quirky dance movements she does, so musical, just adds to the massive stage presence she has and the energy of the performance. It makes it for me. Amazing for that age. Those two things together - well it brings a tear to my eye. It's just so endearing! Yeah, there are lots of talented child singers - I checked a few out after I watched these. Some don't make the grade, others are so perfect and choreographed it's too clinical to enjoy. And they are all 'starry-eyed', whereas Addie just looks like she just wants have fun. For me, though, some of the later shows when she is a little older don't have that same vibe - maybe it's the songs, or the teenage years (tough time for kids - bodies and minds go in all directions!), or whatever. And all that vocal gymnastics - I don't think it's necessary for her. I'd say she can convey as much emotion with two notes than others with 10 up and down the scales - that's the quality of her tone. You don't have to prove yourself, Addie! Just the opinion of some random person from the UK, though..... :-) I have seen the more recently posted song with her brother (Addie looking fantastic as a young lady, and Ben, handsome and talented also - Mr Teolis, the family gene pool is well stocked!). The recording quality is great. You can really hear the quality of Addie's voice. I think it would be great (quite selfishly) if Addie could get together with a rock group, maybe write some of her own songs. Don't over-think it, just let whatever comes out come out - the words are in the voice! I'm sure if she can express songs like she does then the words are already there. Just would like to see some of that raw energy from when she was younger now. And on to why I'm really commenting, eventually - To David Teolis - you have a brilliant daughter. Thank you for posting these clips. No doubt I will come back to them from time to time when I need a pick-me-up. To Addie - thank you so much for your performances. I guess the gigs that I'm on about are a long time ago for you now, and you were quite young then. All the comments say how talented you are, which is true, but I'm going to give you a massive, backdated and teacher-like 'well-done'. To do what you did at that age is really difficult - it's not just the talent. I wish you all the best whatever you decide to do in the future. BTW, the reason I've commented on this video is because the band is so tight (love the crazy drummer) and I think it helped the delivery to be one of the better ones(shame the guitarist's volume was too low on the solo, though). A great performance by everyone. Also, it's really cute when, at the end of the song, there's all this cheering and applause, and Addie seems to shake her head in disbelief (it's for you Addie, it's for you...!). I'm guessing there were a lot of family and friends in there but the whole crowd were just in awe of this little girl....Amazing.

This is an absolutely stunning version of this song. The band are right on it, and the way Addie throws herself into those last lines its like she lifts herself off the floor. There's just so much energy in the place. Real shame the guitar lead is too quiet, but got to be one of my favourite live KZitem clips of all time. Seriously.

Based on the Comments, it looks like this has been getting some well deserved attention in recent weeks (May-July 2020). It is good to see that it has 44,000 views and 976 likes, and 135 comments as at 7/12/20, though that's not really much over the six years since it was uploaded, but with some of these videos adding 6,000-40,000 views A DAY in July 2020, I am expecting this may get more views in the coming weeks and months.
