October is National Bullying Prevention Month and as tradition has it, the first Monday of October is “Go Blue” day to signify the importance of the awareness month.
Phoenix Middle School students and staff did their part by wearing blue on Monday, October 2.
The school also changed up its bells and played “Blue” themed music. Teachers in many subjects and grade levels also brought awareness by talking about the issue at the start of class. They asked students questions about how they can be a helper and not a bully, and how to improve their school atmosphere.
It’s steps like these that make Phoenix Middle School a safe, fun learning environment and we’re happy to help STOMP out bullying!
