Thanks for nice video and tutorial, going to try this out. No need to be sorry for picking up the mic, i think its alot better then listening to the weird sound it would make if mic attached on you.

The reason I love my DD 4 x 4 is it makes bigger shelters with more coverage than the 3 x 3. But I am planning to purchase the 3 X 3 to increase my camping/hammocking setup options.

Got both the 3x3 and 4x4 but will say the DD xl is way to big glad I saw it before I bought it

Where did you stash the step ladders? 🤣 I don’t know if it’s the camera perspective, but that looks like a bloody high ridge line.😃

Well I am 6"2 so the ridge line was about 7ft . It's a set up I will use on next camp as the heat from the fire will roll round and keep me warm

@@lector3332 I had a similar setup on my last camp, a half Polish lavvu with a Firebox stove outside, it was roasting hot sitting under the lavvu, slightly spoilt by the wind swirling the smoke in very so often. It would have been a great camp if I hadn’t been invaded by slugs, never known it so bad, every time I woke up, they were over everything (and under, myself included 😩) I even had to pick them out of my hair! I was very close to packing up and walking home at 2.30 a.m. The only thing that stopped me was the worry of being stopped by police with my assorted sheaf knives and wood carving knives. I think I will stick to hammocks, at least until it gets too cold for those horrible things. 🤢

@@Mat-kr1nf as to the slug problems I would suggest useing a kombat pop-up mozzi mosquito net or something similar. Smoke blowing in is a hard one in woods with trees as can change direction at any time. And as for knives I allways hide them in my bag when walking to and from away camp. Hammocks are ace only thing with them is that eary hours Piss. So it's a Emmy bottle to save getting out .....

@@lector3332 That mozzy net is a damn good idea! I do the same with a VERY WELL LABELLED 😂Nalgene bottle, at age 55, unhappily, it’s a great deal more than once a night!🤣🥺😩. I wouldn’t worry about having knives in the bottom of my rucksack, but having to walk through a council estate, which is between where I camp and home, I’m a bit wary when it’s the very early hours of the morning. Always enjoy your videos by the way.😀

I think (though not for sure) I didn't see this setup before I've made it so maybe it's my own idea. If U will found this setup in another place, tell me ;-)

No in all fairness I did it by accident was going to do the plough point set up and ended up doing this one. I have never seen it on any tarp set up charts. I am thinking of doing series on different tarp start-ups.
