As soon as this video was over I went and did thr exact same thing. Sanded the edges clean and repainted after. Sounds so good 👌👌👌 thank you. I am even more addicted to the bike than ever.

@@plopping-wetlyacademyofmot9639 I didnt do that but what i did do was get a grinder and cut around the very back bit where the chrome meets the black tip and am very happy with the note of it and still keeps all the back pressure.

Drill around the inner portion, place a pipe inside the muffler hole and move back and forth until the weld breaks then take it out.

I ve cut thru the exterior of the muffler and now i m left with the silencer "hanging" in the middle. What to do next to take it all out? Can i send you a pic somehow?

Grab some channel locks or pliers and start moving the baffle back and forth until it snaps off then simple pull it out. You know how a nail snaps if you bed it back and forth!

But why?
@kiwibadger7826
4 жыл бұрын
1. Because last time I had an older bike with OEM mufflers and did it, it made the bike run better. 2. It now idles better. 3. Throttle response is now better. 4. Sounds better, being able to hear that V4. 4. Because I want to. 5. Because it's my bike and I can. 6. Why not?

Pretty sure it was a Corban. It was the most comfortable bike I've ever owned and I've had about 25 bikes.

It was a 95. The inner baffle pipe was sitting flush with the end of the muffler.

I believe it was a Corban. I've owned 25+ bikes over 25 years and that bike with that seat was the most comfortable bike I've ever owned. I could ride for 12 hours without discomfort or physical fatigue.

@@kiwibadger7826 I was going to ask the same question. Great looking seat, wish I could find a match. My Corbin custom is different and well worn.
