Thank you Peter, long since I last heard from you! I'm almost afraid of going back to reading it, for I can't bear the picture of a noble man condemned to such suffering in the gaol. However I'm happy to learn that lovers' fight of the 19th century are not all that different from today xD

@@anaysayersyes Yes, KZitem no longer sends me notifications of people I follow. Started about 5 months ago. Zero notifications even if I have bell clicked. You will hear from me more. I was very sad for a while and that has left. When I first read De Profundis I did not know it was written from prison by Oscar. After reading it, I was in utter amazement. I wondered, why was this writing so different? It was in a book I had. I then looked it up on the internet and discovered the conditions he lived in prison. I wish Oscar lived longer. Some say that his incarceration shortened his life which is likely. You have a beautiful voice. I look forward to listening to others you have which I have missed the last 5 months. xP

How beautiful is this. I listen to it without any particular lense, just as a love song. Period. Boise was a narcissist and may have loved Oscar but seems like he abandoned him at the end. The poet the dreamer the aesthete is always Oscar, not Boise..." That you loved me." I hope you really felt it and believed it.
