I am white but we grew up in black churches. My father was a pastor and we always were tied to the Church of God In Christ and the Baptist church. This is what we were at home with and it was perfectly normal for us. It brings back so memories because the deacons would sing and make your hair stand up. We always looked at these men with so much respect because they were giants of faith to us.

I agree. St. Peter said God is no respecter of persons meaning rich or poor, simple or smart, black or white, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified, risen, and coming again to judge the living and the dead. We’re living in evil times where even supposedly Christian folks are hating on each other. Others have forsaken the Lord completely and become slaves of perversion. We all need to REPENT and listen to Godly elders like this gentleman, preaching a sermon from his soul in song.

Lord have mercy!!!! They don't even sing like this no more. When I was a little girl when someone sung like that a rushing wind would come through the church. Folks would be laid out with the holy ghost.

It takes me back to when church was really about the community. It makes me think about my Grandma😔....church and worshipping was serious business, now, for the most part, it's too business oriented. The last church I was a member of didn't even have devotion tied into service. The sanctuary will be in my heart forever.
