Do you remember how sad you were 25 years ago when we thought we would never have another Dead show? We are so lucky to hear this music again, in any format.... Thanks for sharing

I was at this show and it will be my last dead and company concert - and what a great show to be the last. I have loved the dead for over 40 years, since 5th grade. The visuals and sound were great but the playing was faded. Bob is now in his mid-70s and still doing well, but they are very low energy. Drums and space was very intense. It was a very jam heavy and spacey concert. The setlist was amazing and I enjoyed the show, but I've seen dead shows back in the '80s that were 10 times stronger than this show. Dead forever! This music will be listened to until the end of time.

@@gregorygarcia6542 the honesty and courage you have as a Deadhead is obvious. There are dozens of Reddits painting people like yourself, like myself, as lovers of the past who can’t or didn’t “move on” after Jerry passed on. At least you gave it the ole college try. I never thought of D&C as sellouts but I’ve never truly enjoyed one single version of anything they tried playing post Jerry. I tried to listen. I tried keeping an open mind and ear that the Grateful Dead STILL teaches me to do. But I can’t. When there’s hundreds of shows for me to still and absorb on tape, I’d MUCH rather catch up to a Tennnese Jed that won’t make it in my top 10 than even try to listen to this. But of course not everyone likes licorce. And I’m not afraid to say that although the Dead, JGB, Grateful Dawg, O&ITWay were all about Jerry, but mostly they OBVIOUSLY are. The absence of Jerry is not the reason I dont enjoy D&C, but really, it is. Ironically, I’ve seen fans use Hunters lyrics against those who “are still holding onto the past” and as in Mississippi HStep need to “seal that silver mine”. I digress. Completely. Those mis-using such a brilliant quote whilst wagging their so called mighty finger should at least understand that it’s actually THEMSELVES that need to do so. Be well and long live the Fen Grateful Dead!!!

@@Karmakatt6 thank you for the very nice message. There's only one Jerry Garcia. While I still enjoy a lot of the Grateful Dead tribute bands out there, nobody sings to me like Jerry did. Oh how I miss that fat man. Take care.

It seems strange to criticize people as living in the past. Literally everything is in the past. Are Mozart fans living in the past when they go to the symphony? Living in the moment is what Dead shows are all about! They were great with Jerry but I can also find moments of Bliss with other bands. And if you measure it by a dollar spent to blissful moment obtained ratio the value is quite good at some tribute band concerts. But I live in LA where we have an embarrassment of riches. Great shows nearly every night of the week. I can't afford that so I pick my favorites.

I saw the Wall of Sound show at Boston Garden June 28 1974. I thought Pink Floyd was on next
